Hampton Models ILLEGAL, TREATS EMPLOYEES BADLY Smithtown New York

SADLY, after working for this company for 5 years I realized that not ONE part of this company was legal or legitimate when it comes to there employees. ALL employees are under a 1099 form, no benefits, no raises, no paid holidays, vacations, sick days, etc. Being a young individual with this being my "Start off career" I had no idea how i was being treated until i did research. Being a 1099 contractor for a business you are to decide how, when and where to do your work, what tools and equipment to use.  You are also supposed to have a CONTRACT to determine how long you'll be with the company, an agreement on what is to be paid to you, etc. ACCORDING to the IRS employers who misclassify employees as independent contractors will be liable for the employment taxes on wages paid to the misclassified worker and subject to penalties. Hampton Models was ILLEGALLY avoiding paying taxes for me as an employee.

Being the person I am I stayed with the company out of loyalty until I was sick and tired of how I was treated, not only by being paid as a 1099 employee but being denied any sick days, holiday days, vacation days, etc, and by also being denied health insurance, etc. This has caused me to be in a massive amount of debt because I was not being paid what I deserved. ALLISON CRESSWELL also treated myself and other employees badly by her "words." Allison would say, "You fucked this up." instead of can you please fix this. She would tell the employees we were not allowed to talk. If we were eating chips or something we would be told to stop because the crunching on the chips would bother her. We were NOT entitled to lunch breaks. There were times we had to be there until 8 at night and not ALLOWED to leave until something was complete although it was not a deadline by any means. We were also treated as a "slave to her." If she didn't want to pick up her daughter someone in her office HAD TO GO. we had no choice. we were NOT ALLOWED to make doctors appointments during business hours. we had to come in when sick, terrible weather conditions etc. 

Upon QUITTING the agency because it was the last straw when she said, "YOU SUCK AT YOUR JOB" i was grabbed by the arms and had a sharp object held up to me with ALLISON CRESSWELL saying "Dont fuck with me." The cops were called and I am still deciding whether or not to pursue her with charges, but did have an incident report filed.
