Hamshere Gallery is a dealer in dog art and  dog collectibles including paintings, prints and jewelry. They are based in London, England, but they do business throughout the world via the internet.

Almost one year ago, I purchased an original signed print and agreed to pay $700.00 for it.  The owner of Hamshere Gallery, Gillian Hamshere, agreed to take monthy payments of $100.00 by payment into her US bank account and told me that she would ship the print when I had paid $350.00.  

I made two payments into her bank account: one $100.00 payment and one $250.00 payment.   I have the receipts from her bank showing that the two payments were deposited into her account.  I emailed her and asked her to acknowledge receipt of the payments, but each time she did not respond untill weeks later and only  after numerous emails from me.  While I was in the buying process, and had not yet committed to buy,  her emails to me were frequent, but once I purchased I never heard from her.

It took weeks for her to respond to my many emails,  and when finally she responded , she told me she would ship the print.  It is almost one year later and she has not shipped the print and she has refused to return my money.

Every time I contact her she tells me she has mailed a refund check to me. However, it has been 11 months and i have received no refund.  Obviously she is lying. .  She claims she is unable to wire the money to me.   She continues to claim she mailed me a check, but refuses to tell me whether it was by regular mail, fed X  or other carrier.  She has my address and bank information.  A company who claims to do business all over the world should be able to accomplish the simple act of mailing a refund check.

She has stolen my money.  Do not do business with Hamshere Gallery.  They are not honest and will steal your money, as they have stolen mine.

My money has been refunded by Hamshere Gallery AND they sent me my print to make up for the delay.  Thank you, Hamshere Gallery!
