Product arrived but when assembling it was found there was only 3 instead of 4 item 19's; tie down hook & washer. There are adequate washers and also some excess other nuts and bolts.

The Haul Master Manual tells you to call the 800 number for missing defective parts. That number is in fact Harbor Freight. They give out email addresses for you to use but otherwise make it difficult to get hold of a person.

When you get hold of a person, they tell you the part isn't available. They expect you to pack it up and ship it back to them so they can send you a new one.

Having spent a good chunk of two nights assembling the unit, my reaction is you have to be kidding me? Send the whole $170, 60 pound item back to replace a one ounce missing part and spend another couple of nights dismantling it to be followed by wasting more nights at a later date assembling another one?

But that's their choice, do as they say (I thought God lived in heaven not at Harbor Freight) or go to h**l. To top it off, out of a 3 item order, only 1 piece arrived in a timely fashion; the others are somewhere in the country trying to find their way to me.
