Harp Marketing runs ads in the Florida Today Sunday papers saying employees are guaranteed 11.00/ hr first shift and 12.00 hr second and third shift.

When I worked there the first thing they did was take out 80 dollars from my paycheck. $10 for a loose leaf binder that sells for 2.00 at staples and 70 dollars for a head set/microphone for computers that sell for under $20 at radio shack. Employees are supposed to get this back when returned upon termination, but I never have.

In reality the pay is $6.40 per hour plus various commissions. The difference is supposed to be made up to 11 and 12 dollars in what they call true up, which doesn't get paid until the followong pay period, why , who knows. The company in a memo recently put out that they were only going to pay the "true up " if a certain sales goal of a really sketchy product was met, almost impossible for most. In the time I worked there I never made more the 8 or 9 dollars per hour>

They were still running the false advert for hiring as of thelast sunday in October.

do you not have anthing better to do?

It really bothers me that some people dont work out at a company and all of a sudden there is something wrong with the company...so what if a company gets a lawsuit? Lets pull up walmart, or even mcdonalds! what are u not gonna eat or shop at the places cuz they have a lawsuit?GET REAL! I have been at harp marketing for 4years and am yet to see anyone being treated unfairly or seen anyone getting ripped off! when you have a call center you can only investigate so far into the clients you deal with, so what if they made a bad choice with a company they worked with! You see they are still there in business. If the company was so bad do you think it would be standing this long?Every company is gonna have some type of downfall every once and a while and there is always gonna be someone who just wasnt cut out for the job to waste there time talking about people.

Mystery Shopper is one of the "companies" Harp works for.

Please read about the Federal Lawsuit against Mystery Shopper and Harp.

Do you really want to work for such a firm?

Harp is very reputable

This person obviously could not sell. Harp employees only hire self motivated individuals who are motivated to sell and make money. The products sold are backed by leading physicians some patent pending and others already have several U.S. Patents. As a matter of fact we employ agents who are making 40k + a year and the potential to make money is unlimited. This person obviously was looking for a job being an order taker. Those of you in sales know you gotta sell to make money the job obviously was not cut out for this individual. Also Its very rare that we have to give tru ups because the majority of the agents make more money than people who have college degrees, however if an agent does have a struggling week the company does make up the difference. By the way the Plantronics headsets that are given to the agents retail at at $75.00 a piece. I think this individual was sailing in unfamilier territory this job is not for the weak.

This is Ridiculous...I am proof!!!

This is a bogus report. I started working at Hqarp marketing in January of 2007 and haven made under twenty two dollars since iv'e started other than training. THey pay do pay their employees. yes base pay is minimum wage but after you tally in your comissions if it doesnt equal over 12 an hour the company will pay the difference. And regarding the products I have actually had customers call up and personally thank me for their product and say how much of a difference it has made in their life.
