Hartford Auto Club ripoff Miami Florida

I have read most of the reports and they all sound too familiar. I too have fallen vitim of the "Hartford Auto Club". I was charged $99.00 on my credit card. I called the phone number listed on my statement and found out that it wasn't even the right phone number for the "Hartford Auto Club".

I too have spoken to "Meka", "Braylon", "Trakinya", "Roshicka", "Belinda" and numerous other ficticious persons. I was told by Miss "Meka" that a formal investigation would have to be filed and that she would take care of that for me and for me to contact them in 30 days. I contacted them 30 days later and they stated that they weren't finished with the investigaton yet and besides they meant to tell me that it was 30 "Bussiness" days.

I called them back only to find out that they had not resolved the incident yet and that I should call back in 7 business days. One day their computers were down, the next day the person I needed to talk to wasn't in, the next day I was told that I had called too early that they were just opening up. And finally today 11-13-2002 I was informed by Miss "Meka" that they had reviewed the phone conversation and that I had in-fact "Authorized" the $99.00 charge and she could schedule someone to call me back for a replay of the conversation on 11-19-2002 at 9:15am.

HA. That made me laugh. I can't wait to hear from them. If they call at all.
