MY SON OF 20 NEEDED HIS WISDOM TEETH REMOVED, SO HE APPLIED FOR THE HC CREDIT CARD WITH A LIMIT OF 1800.00, AFTER A FULL YEAR OF MAKING PAYMENTS THE BALANCE IS STILL 1720.15. HOW CAN THEY DEO THIS TO CUSTOMERS, AT THIS RATE ISW WILL NEVER BE PAID THE MINIMUM PAYMENT IS 56.00 OF WHICH 46.00 IS INTEREST, I AM SURE THIS INTEREST RATE WAS NOT DISCLOSED, HOW CAN THESE PEOPLE BE STOPPED AND HOW CAN THIS EVER BE PAID DOWN. I HAVE SEEN ALOT OF RIP OFF SITES SHOWING THIS COMPANY. NOT ONLY THAT, IT WILL RUIN HIS CREDIT.

I am a former credit analyst for the Helpcard. My job was to approve the applications. All applications submitted to the helpcard must be signed. On the application is the disclosures for the card. The application will not be processed if it is not signed. Applications can also be submitted over the phone. Disclosures are read to every applicant that calls in. The phone calls are all recorded. This credit card is a subprime credit card. meaning it is for people who have bad credit, little credit, or no credit. The fees will be high because The Helpcard took a risk on your son. I suggest that when he applies for a credit card that he knows the interest rate and terms before he applies for it.
