Purchased a Healthrider H50 Eliptical exercise machine. Assembled it and discovered that the Resisitance function does not work. Partially disassembled the machine to confirm that it had been assembled properly. Called the service number 1-888-922-4222 on the book. Put the phone on speaker box and waited. As indicated in a prior Rip Off Complaint no one ever answers the telephone. Called repeatedly and no answer. Did an internet exploration and discovered that Icon Health & Fitness is the parent company to Healthrider. The number listed for Icon is (435) 750-5000. Called that number and no one answers. So as I write this I have a 275 pound chunk of iron sitting on the floor that does nothing. It has great assurances of warranty and tells you to call them for Customer Service. However, no one answers any of their lines. I find myself wondering if this is a company that is failing, selling off their hardware and that has shutdown offices. Before buying an Icon product (Healthrider, Nordic Track and Pro-Form) I recommend asking for their Customer Service phone number and then call it to see if anyone answers.
