Healthy Homes Ripping off OLD people, Selling 2 units in 1 year!!!! Windsor Ontario

Healthy Homes contacted through a telephone marathon, my Step Father of 80 yrs old. They came to his apartment and sold him a clean air purifying unit for $2998.00 in April of 2008. By June of 08 he called and left message(s) (6) times that he needed new filters. They never got back to him until March of 09, They then came to his apartment again and sweet talked him into purchasing a new unit for $3,000.00.

The first unit purchased in 08 was used from April thru June of 08. All it needed was filters that he could never get a reply from the company. (6) times. They then came in April of 09, and talked him into purchasing a unit large enough to clean an entire home, he only used the living room of his apartment as he was confined to it. They state on there contract "25 free years of service" you can never get them to call you back!!!. My step father used the new unit for 3 weeks, he was hospitalized and has passed. I still can not get a reply from the company. You have 30 days to return the unit for a full refund. I now know why they do not answer there messages.

These people need to be stopped. How can they sleep at night knowing they ripped off an old man!!! The first unit used for 3 months and the second used for 3 weeks. The salesman Patrick Webb took 8 hours to install a plug in unit!!!. He should of replaced the filters in the unit purchased one year prior. But with out guilt of ripping off an old man he sold yet another unit to him. I have tried and tried to contact them leaving 3 messages and then there mail box is full!!! Please beware of what you are throwing your money away on when you deal with this company.
