My husband and I had seen Heart Check America several times over the last decade. We went in for a check up and was encouraged to pre-buy a 10 year heart check plan, since it covered not just heart but body as well. We paid a $299 annual fee, plus $4000 for both of us. In less then a year, we went to book appointments and got the runaround on the phone that they were remodeling.  Soon they stopped answering the phone, so we contacted the national office. They too said they were remodeling and we would be taken care of. That money, which was hard to come by, was spent to insure a peace of mind for both of us. Since we were never seen, we want that money back.
