Hearthware Inc NuWave induction cooktop Didn't send "Free" item, wanted to charge $70 to ship, refused to refund 62.85 shipping on return Libertyville, Illinois

Pretty much the same as everyone else has already stated. The did not send the "Free" item and when asked I was told it would be $70 for shipping. They charged me $62.85 for shipping and handling already. I told them I wished to return the cooktop units for a refund. They refused to refund the $62.85 shipping costs. I paid $6.92 to return it by the same UPS ground shipping they used and as you can see it was a lot less than $62.85.

I filed a claim with the Illinois Attorney General's office so hopefully they will do something to this company. It is pretty obvious that they are doing this as a regular practice and should be closed down.
