My husband and I had a Helzberg Diamonds credit card. HSBC Bank owns this credit card and they aren't willing to work with you at all. I paid with my debit card on the day the payment was due. HSBC didn't post the money to my Helzberg account till 4 days later. At this time, it made the payment late. I had to pay a $25 dollar late fee because they wouldn't post my transaction the day I made it. I finally got enough money to pay this credit card off. I paid it in full last month, but this month I have a new balance of $65. I called and inquired, but the management at HSBC was unwilling to work with me. The $65 was due to HSBC not posting my transaction when I paid and it showed up late again. Keep in mind I paid in full, but now HSBC is saying I still owe another $40 and a $25 on top of that for being late. I'm outraged! This bank and credit card are not at all good to the customer. I'd wish that this bank would work with me and hear me out, but that's not going to happen. It was their fault, but it's the client that pays! I want to warn future potential buyers and holders of this credit card. Stay away from Helzberg Diamonds and HSBC Bank!! I had issues with jewelry, but that's for another report.
