Everytime I read this (and hopefully, I can be done with my rebuttals), I see more deranged rantings from uneducated people from 5 years ago. On Milestone Group Partners-after Randy Kale's Mama sued her own son, I helped him get some land out of his name to protect him, his wife, and the five children he had to educate. His brother and mom thought they could outspend him with some of "dead Daddy's insurance money" they ultimately lost completely, as I understand. So I helped Kale at his request put some of the Kale Clinic property he bought into a partnership to protect his family. This is really easy law, and I am pretty good at corporate law and real estate, too. This is the way asset protection works under the law of Limited Liability Corporations-LLC is the term used. Any corporate lawyer, or businessman knows how this works. All Kale's mother and brother accomplished was to waste about $200,000 of his Dad's insurance money in legal fees. In fact, that was how Randy Kale ultimately won it all-the family opponents went broke. Poor Ms. Charlotte Kale had to sell her house and move in to pretty humble quarters I understand. None of this was good for these guys. Why and how do people dig their own graves out of a secure circumstance? I think if you are talentless, (like a lottery winner with no character, skill, or work ethic), you will lose it all. If you are poor but motivated, resourceful and smart, you will become very secure economically. The result of the case was niether a win nor a loss I understand. The people suing who wanted to own the name "Kale Clinic" or something of the sort, were not even doctors to begin with. They all had lawyers, and wasted the Court's time, or so I heard.  Explain the logic or intelligence behind this situation? Anyway, when the storm had passed, the property went back to it's owner, Randy Kale, or his corporation, I forget which. I never got a dime out of anything and had zero to gain from this. In retrospect, maybe I should have just let Randy's family get pummeled--naw, not who I am. This issue was not at all about me. I have gotten people out of more jams in my life than a jar has jelleybeans. Helping people outsmart hairbrained adversaries was my trade! This sort of thing though, and years of "riding tough" in the saddle, plus shortly after that the medical  issue, and the subsequent surgery, caused me to say adios to law practice. I rode that 25 years with much tenacity, and, in retrospect, it sure was fun...(happier now though, for sure) My country boy knowledge of the law and reputation earned over the years as to how outsmart "stupid greedy people" was a community fact.  People kept coming in my door over and over again for years, and they still call me now.....alas I am retired and in Atlanta.....and have to walk my dog......What "high drama" as they say on Broadway!  Franklin S. I have re-read this entire "raging" emotional banter after 5 years and figure I would go ahead and finish my response. Well, where do I start. I retired successfully after 25 years from law practice, but yes, dear sweet Robin is quite right, the Supreme Court did place me on "disability inactive" status in May 2006. I had brain surgery to remove a tumor in the upper parietal section of my brain that affects the left side. I needed some time in the hospital, and in recovery. I do have residual affects but workout and do physical therapy to assure my left leg is maintained in good order, and I lift weights to keep my body in balance. Biopsy was negative. Sometimes we get tough breaks, but how we deal with them is the key.  While this "human being" was railing about her "neck pain" I was recovering with staples in my head, all my hair having been shaved, and praying to the Lord I would find a recovery from this life- threatening condition. While people were writing these deranged posts I was recuperating in bed. The Supreme Court wisely appointed an attorney to help me wind down my practice, while I recovered. I am very appreciative of the Court's assistance. I have a beautiful home where I had planned to retire to in Atlanta anyway for about 5 years before all this happened, so I put my home in Spartanburg on the market and moved out so the realtor could show it and stayed in Atlanta. I also sold my beautiful condo in Miami at a huge profit as I felt real estate there had hit a top. (Boy was I right-lucky me!) I could buy it back for 40% of what I sold it for. Well, the home in Spartanburg was sold, and I simplified further. Having started out as just a "country boy" I retired very comfortably indeed. Someone said on one of these posts I was "hold up in a Marriott.?" Well, I did stay at the beautiful hotel in Spartanburg when I would travel there for business since my old house was sold there, but I have a pretty nice little place in Atlanta to live-5000 square feet-so I manage,  I suppose. My goodness, when I did retire, my overhead stopped, and it was a cash flow positive situation. Luckily, with great health insurance, and 100% support from friends and family, here I am! Check out my facebook site and my great dog, Buzz! Dogs are so important for therapy. Anyway, it took incredible strength and will to get back on my feet for all the paperwork pending was well resolved. Robin's "huge" case was long resolved. Some of my remaining cases were referred over to some other lawyers who helped me and the remaining clients finished their cases. So no, I was not hold up in a beautiful hotel, I was winding down my business, going to PT, trying to get my rest, and recovering! trying to get through a tough time. As for "BJ".................Dr. Kale's "errant brother"-where do I get started. I have known their entire family for 30 years. Dr. Kale's Dad Michael was quite talented. He was in my opinion "close to genious." BJ could not live up to Dad's expectations, so his Mom protected him. So he never matured. BJ is slow when it comes to making good grades. He flunked the test to get his license to practice chiropratic a number of times. He calls himself a Doctor, when he is not a licensed doctor or chiropractor the last time I heard 5 years ago. Randy and his fine sister Renee, had the brains. Renee is a successful Chiropractor last time I heard. When Michael died, BJ and Charlotte, his Mama, who is also no doctor (nor did she ever go to College), tried to run his Dad's old business. They ran it into the ground. Imagine, two unlicensed people, Mama and Errant son, running a doctor's office. If it quacks like a duck, maybe it's a duck. Well, when the bank foreclosed on Kale's old office, his son Randy bought it back from the bank and as he had been licensed for eons. He moved his practice there and the "s" hit the fan, as Mama Charlotte was no longer in control, had no education, and poor jealous BJ, tried to stop his own successful brother. Poor Renee did not know what to do and was caught in the middle. She traveled back and forth from her Atlanta home to try to stave off the madness. It was a mess. How many times in history has family treachery played out like this nutty scenario did. Randy Kale's own mother, Charlotte, who was fast destroying her inheritance left by her husband, bankrolled a lawsuit against her own son to try to stop him from practicing his profession. No kiddin'! You can't make this stuff up! She now is broke on her "a" as I hear it, and I do feel more than a little sorry for her. Who knows where old BJ is, as I have not heard from those folks in years. I have not seen him on the Forbes 500 list, though. In law practice you come in contact with lots of nuts. You can't help doing so-it's part of the deal. You get dragged into all sorts of things having nothing to do with you. The Kale family self-destruction is one of those things. Any by the way, to insinuate Randy Kale and I were anything "but just friends" is sickening. His kids look at the web also, and so do his grandkids, and so does my family. These repulsive posts just had to be answered after 5 years-no more waiting. As of now I undertand Randy Kale is still running that great clinic, and has a pretty cool Facebook site, though we don't communicate. I don't want near those people. It's too bad. He and Renee have fine families. I am doing other things in my retired life in Atlanta, and my dog guards the beautiful southern porch on my beautiful home overlooked by the skyline of Atlanta. All's well that ends well! People go public with their little grievances in life that don't amount to a hill of beans based on what the average American has to struggle with every day. And then I have to write this post. What a waste of a person's time. It was just "Hillbilly Hell" in that beleagured family, and I sympathize with Renee and Randy for living it. I wonder how the coffee date went with Robin and BJ? These statements are inaccurate. I practiced law quite successfully for 25 years. I had few complaints in my years, but many animated clients, for sure. Some were more pleasant than others. I definately "remember" this client, and I will not reveal confidences and secrets in my file about her, nor will I discuss her medical history-or case issues specifically. On the accident-not so serious. On the doctor-between her and doctor. My firm referred about 5,000 clients to many different MD's, chiroptactors, DO's, and orthos in many different cities. We also did few referrals if the client had an existing doc. I am a  lawyer, now retired after 25 years, and not an MD, so doctors provided information we did not have. Without a doctor's opinion, or medical records, I nor the insurance company, would know anything about an injury, and it cannot be presented. This woman "expressed she needed chiropractic care."  Kale is a darn good doctor, and they have a old established office, and they are always on call. He is a fine family man with a beautiful and wonderful wife and 5 fine children. His reports are well-written. I am sorry Robin could not get out of her concerts with the Greenville symphony. Doctors have to go with their judgement. I have never known a violinist not to have neck pain for obvious reasons. Dr. Kale does not hand out medical excuses like "candy", and I did not as a lawyer present them unless valid. I am glad Robin got another doctor and she was happy with him, and I think Dr. Kale might have been glad, too. Jenny was a wonderful paralegal. She drove all the way from Seneca to Spartanburg every day, and had two children to raise. She did as I recall listen to long emotional conversations with Robin and was happy to try to listen, even when the conversations were unusual. Let's see-the Insurance Adjuster-unhappy with her, too.  I remember Robin wanted "pretty quick action." I suppose Robin was financially challenged, and can sympathize with that-though I am unsure why. I am pretty sure these challenges predated our representation. There is no law on demand letters, so Robin does not understand. I am also sorry about the adjuster not moving quick enough for Robin's satisfaction. In retrospect, I should have released Robin and asked her to find other representation, as it may have been better for all concerned. We don't think clients should call adjusters when they are mad-most lawyers don't. Anger contol is the key to a successful practice of law or life. I am very sorry, and I truly am, that after years as a violinist, Robin's neck hurts. I hope she is feeling better as I respond finally to this 4 years later since apparently it won't go off the internet. Having viewed many serious and horrible auto accidents over the years, which resulted in death, dismemberment, or broken bones, I am happy for Robin, in that she was spared agony of this type. I do hope she was able to get out of her symphony appearances, and continues "cured" from her very difficult and trying experiences of varying types and happenstances, and I really do mean that, Robin. Respectfully,  Franklin Henson

I recently received information proving that Franklin Henson funded the clinic that Randy Kale was practicing from.

The clinic was funded by a group called Milestone Group Partners...with the managing member, being Franklin Henson, who signed the contract for the property, and was then assigned to Randy Kale, a "member" only of the Milestone Group Partner, LLC.

The property was orginally purchased in May of 2004...proving that Henson had a financial interested in sending me to Randy Kale for chiropractic treatment in December of 2004.

I now have enough evidence to pursue this legally and have contacted an attorney. The investigation from the State Lawyer Desciplinary Committee and the State Licensing Board for Chiropractors is ongoing. I will update as the process continues.

On May 12, 2006, in direct response to my complaint and others, the South Carolina Supreme Court issued a order stating that Franklin Henson is to cease practicing law in the United States. His office was subsequently shut down on May 14, 2006. His business accounts have been frozen.

This... people, is what happens when you file proper complaints with the applicable governing institutions. I am thrilled, that this is the result of my submitting in detail the total misrepresentation of Franklin Henson, and also Dr. Randolph Kale.

Although I do not know at this point the direct results of my complaints to the Chiropractic Boards in SC, I do know that Dr. Randy Kale has closed his office, and has listed it... along with his house for sale. I guess he's out of business too!

Dr. BJ...wanted to let you and everyone else know, that the complaints I filed with the State Chiropractic Board, on Dr. Randolph H Kale, and Dr. Mark E. Quinn, have been received, and I was sent notification of that in yesterday's mail.

My complaints to the SC Bar, and the Lawyer Discipline Comm, were received on December 15th, according to the FedEx tracking numbers, but I haven't heard back from them yet.

I will also post the contact information to get a copy of the Federal Injunction against Dr. R. Kale, as soon as I find it. The court transcript is public information, and anyone can order it and read for THEMSELVES the unethical behavior of Dr. Randy H Kale.

I have also followed up with complaints to the SC Insurance Commission, and the St. Attorney General's Office, and will let you know what comes of that.

Be on the look-out for the info for the Court Case Transcript. Should get that posted today.

It is quite noteworthy, that all of the above names are connected with Dr. Randy Kale, and not at all connected with The Kale Foundation; Kale Chiropractic Clinics, LLC; Kale Research & Technology, LLC; Kale Marketing Firm, LLC, and you.

You were in fact quite correct in saying that Dr. Randy Kale, and the Henson Law Firm used a businnes name that has been forbidden, by a Federal Injunction and Judgment. I even have a letter from the Henson Law Firm, stating my medical care as coming from "The Kale Clinic".

For public information, I will again mention the Federal Case# for reference.

I would also like to note, that the name for his business in the yellow pages, is against the conditions of this injunction.

It is so evident, after doing some research on my own about your Father, Dr. Michael Kale, that the experience I had with Dr. Randy Kale is nothing like what your Father had ever dreamed of.

Dr. Randy Kale, has no relation to the Kale Chiropractic Clinic that has been in Spartanburg since 1964. And the documentation you sent me, supports this.

I also will be filing formal complaints with the SC Bar Association, the S.C. Board of Chiropractic Examiners, and the State Attorney General's Office. I will be more than glad to supply you with copies of these, if it would help you in the future.

I do hope, that others that have had similar experiences with Dr. Randy Kale, and/or The Henson Law Firm, will come forward, and feel confident that their attention to this issue, will result in specific disciplinary actions towards the offenders.

I was in a car accident myself and started going to him since the DR. at the hospital suggested him. He did X rays and started my treatment and to be honest i hurt worse after leaving the place than i did before i went. The secretary where i was working at the time worked with him part time in the evening doing billing for him. After my 3rd visit with him he called her at work one day and told her to tell me he had me an appointment that evening with his lawyer friend. I knew then that he and the lawyer were just in it for the money and didnt care about my well being so i never went back to him and found a real chiropractor that actually cared the i got well. You are not the first to come forward, and for sure not the last, BUT from my understanding and the reports i have read, Dr. Randy Kale is in NO WAY associated with the REAL kale chiropractic clinic, he has illegally used this name to gain attention from the Real Kale Clinic to benefit for himself since his last name is Kale.

the United States Federal case # 6:04-22-44013 clearly states that he is illegally using the name Kale Clinic or Kale Chiropractic. And by him continuing to do this and confuse and mislead the public in a fraudulent way and using HLF to cover for him, in a coerscion type fashion will only be to his loss in the future. Time and advertising perphinaelia gathered and continuing to be gathered along with other clients and patients of his office that have come forward b/c of the misconduct received from Dr. Randy and HLF will be brought before the Federal Judge soon and will be an eye opening experiece for him.

people need to KNOW that although his last name is Kale, his NOT associated with the Kale Chiropractic Clinic that has been in Spartanburg since 1964, before he was even born!

Just curious if this is the Kale clinic on reidiville rd? If so i experienced something like this about 9 or 10 years ago. I was in a car wreck and went to the chiropractor and after 2 visits he wanted to set me up an Appt. with his lawyer friend and I had never even mentioned a lawsuit. Will tell you the whole story if interested.

Robin - It appears you have suffered enough. There are MANY MANY links to this very disfuntional relationship between those two individuals. You are very, very courageous to "Stand Up" and not tolerate the lies and illegal activities that you have incured. There will most likely be repercussions from your actions as neither of them like to be 'caught' like a deer in the headlights.

and to set the record straight, if he told you his brother died, that was far from the truth. His brother is still alive. It was his father that died.

What makes this so sad to the people in the community is not only the outrageous LIES and DECIET, but the Elder Mr. Henson and The Elder Dr. Michael U. Kale, both which Founded their respective organizations were both HIGHLY respected men. and now the sons go and try to destroy that valuable name. That is why Dr. Michael Kale's youngest son, who owns the Entire Kale Organization, and is NOT involved whatsoever with Randy Kale, has made it his lifelong campaign to let people know that Randy Kale is not associated with what their father had built so strong for over 40 years. This will be a long task but with the help of people like you that come forward and expose the bad parts, this is what WILL bring justice. Because people work hard everyday, i know i do, to get everything they have, and it is sad when people come along with alterior motives or selfish greed and try to take that away. Especially, like in your case when you are the victim of someone else.

You can go to any professional business and demand a copy of your records and they must by the LAW give you a copy. They may ask you to pay a small fee for a copy of the x-rays, but that is ok. Pay it and get your records, then you will know exactly what is going on. I suggest going there and not calling in advance.

Dear Dr. Bj....thank you very much for this information. In hindsight, I should have run, as soon as I saw Randy Kale, (is that even his name) with his own office in the Henson Law Firm. I just thought it would be the best way to get chiropractic care, which I wanted, and get an attorney to handle the car case.

Still...no bill, no medical records, etc. What can I do to get a copy of my medical records? I will get a copy of what you mentioned, and since Brenda from the Henson Law Firm recommended him to me, I would think she'd be liable. She said he was her personal chiropractor. I"m going to pursue this, so if you have any advice, please let me know.

Darn him...I felt sorry for him that his brother had died...since we had lost our daughter several years ago.

When I get that info that you suggested, I'll be filing my own complaints with the appropriate organizations, and pursuing legal action, if necessary, against Dr. Randy Kale.

Dear Robin - you have been caught in a very lengthy situation. Dr. Randy Kale does NOT even have the right to Use the name Kale Chiropractic Clinic. A long time ago He lost a FEDERAL court case which does NOT allow him to use that name anywhere in the USA. He knew about this at your time of becoming a new patient. So therein lies the first mis-representation to you. The Henson Law Firm was WELL aware of this FEDERAL CASE at the time also. Since they do have a very intimate relationship.

There have been MANY others that this has happened to and fortunately you came forth. There have been numerous complaints to the SC BAR ASSOCIATION and the SC BOARD OF CHIROPRACTIC EXAMINERS concerning the relationship of Henson Law Firm and Dr. Randy Kale. Yet NOTHING has been done to stop this.

Dr. Randy Kale should be calling his office what he had it named many years ago, THE DR. RANDY KALE CHIROPRACTIC CLINIC, and not using the name Kale Chiropractic Clinic or the Kale Clinic. He has been warned by the FEDERAL courts not to use this name or any association with it as it is not his to use, it is his brother's name which was left to him by his father at his father's death. Dr. Randy Kale always tries to push the envelope of the 'law' b/c of his association with attorneys. It has always been presumed that b/c of his intimate relationship with Mr. Franklin Henson, that 'no-one' could touch him and that they could make a lot of money.

Sorry....after rereading, needed to add something. I never did receive additional xrays after my treatment ended, to show change, no change, nothing. I asked the chiropractor who was treating me, after I never saw Dr. Kale again, and he said, "oh no, we don't do follow up xrays, as that might allow the insurance company to argue against the charges".
