Heritage Warranty - Heritage Platinum RV Warranty 1 Year later and Still waiting for $1,100 refund!!! Lincoln Nebraska

It's been 1 year as of June 23rd since we filed our cancellation of the Heritage Warranty, as we sold the RV and purchased a new one. We followed all the rules listed on the contract. After following up every 3 months, I have found that the State of Carolina was investigating this company for fraud and failure to pay claims. They since turned Heritage investigation over to a company called Fitzgibbons and Company. I have spoke with Mike Fitzgibbons and a Barry Marks, both representatives of this group. They are assigned to follow for the payouts Heritage is suppose to be making. I'm not sure how they fit into the overall picture or who's side they are on, I'm feeling more Heritage rather then consumer, but they could be unbiased. However, the most recent update I received was when I called in March 2009 again, I was told Heritage is only paying out actual claims made against warranties submitted in the last quarter of 2008 and that they have no idea when they would be paying out reimbursement claims for cancellations, but to "be patient".

You can contact this company at 480-948-5415 and submit your issue with them and see where it gets you in the line up (if there is a line up). They will want a copy of your Heritage contract and any claims you have filed that are pending or any paperwork that you originally submitted to get reimbursement for a warranty cancellation. So, be prepared when you call them, be sure you have abided by all the requirements to file a claim or cancel the warranty.

Also, I have filed a claim with our State Insurance Commissioner as to this company, as of today. I'm done being patient, 1 year is ridiculous, especially since I no longer own the unit it was covering, which was the reason for cancelling it to begin with.
