HERITAGE WEB DESIGN, AKA HIT WEB EMPLOYS THE MOST INCOMPETENT PEOPLE POSSIBLE. I HIRED HIT WEB IN 2/2009 TO BUILD MY SITE PAYING THEM HALF OF THE MONIES UPFRONT AND THE OTHER HALF UPON COMPLETION. DURING THE LAST YEAR AND A HALF I HAD SEVEN DIFFERENT PROGRAMMERS I WORKED WITH TO ATTEMPT TO GET MY SITE WORKING, THEY WERE ABLE TO GET SOME NICE PICTURES BUT THE INTERNAL PARTS OF THE SITE STILL DON'T WORK. FIRST PROBLEM, THEY HIRE RANDOM PROGRAMMERS AROUND THE COUNTRY WITH VERY LIMITED EXPERIENCE THAT HAD ABSOLUTELY NO CLUE WHAT I WAS TRYING TO DO WITH MY SITE, THEY JUST BUILT IT HOWEVER THEY COULD FIGURE OUT AND TRIED TO GET ME TO SIGN OFF ON THE WORK SO THEY COULD GET PAID. APPARENTLY HIT WEB DESIGN DOES'NT PAY THEIR DESIGNERS BECAUSE HALF OF THEM EMAILED ME TELLING ME THEY QUIT AND NEVER GOT PAID FOR THEIR "WORK". AFTER ONE AND A HALF YEARS OF TRYING TO GET MY SITE WORKING AND NOT COMPLETED HIT WEB DESIGN JUST DECIDED TO SEND THE REMAINING BALANCE THAT WAS DUE WHEN THE SITE WAS COMPLETED TO COLLECTIONS. KEEP IN MIND I HAD MY SITE POSTED JUST NOT FUNCTIONAL ON OUR END. AFTER SEVERAL CONVERSATIONS WITH PEOPLE IN THE COMPANY I EXPLAINED THAT AFTER A YEAR AND A HALF AND STILL NO RESULTS I NEED TO FIND SOMEONE ELSE CAPABLE OF FINISHING THIS SO WE CAN USE OUR SITE, WHICH THEY WERE FINE WITH. I TRY TO EXPLAIN THIS TO THEIR ACCOUNT DEPARTMENT AND THEY SAID NO ONE CAN WAIVE IT AND I NEED TO PAY UP OR THEY ARE PULLING MY SITE OFF LINE, WHICH THEY DID. SO NOW I'M SITTING HERE WITH NO SITE, AND THEY ARE HOLDING IT HOSTAGE TIL I PAY IN FULL FOR A SITE THAT DOESNT EVEN WORK. UPON SOME RESEARCH THERE ARE MANY, MANY COMPLAINTS ON THEIR TACTICS AND HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, I ONLY WISH I HAD READ INTO THEM BEFORE CHOOSING HIT WEB DESIGN AKA HERITAGE WEB SOLUTIONS TO SCREW UP MY SITE.
