I bought a new fridgidair July 23, 2008. They replaced the first one that was delivered because when you opened the refriderator door the freezer would pop open.

The second one they delivered after the delivery guys left started making a noise. I scheduled for them to come out and fix it a week later.

I came home from a 4 day trip to find the freezer not cooling properly. I scheduled for them to come out and fix it. They scheduled for the wrong day. I waited and no one showed up.

I had someone come today to fix it and of course he did not have the parts to fix it. I have taken 4 hours off for 9 different days on a brand new refrigerator and it is still not fixed.

I called the Customer Serivce manager and told him I wanted a new refridgerator before this last guy came out today and was told it is after 30 days and they will not replace it. When I told him of my frustration Ken informed me that is "life" things happen, things break!

I will never buy another item from HH Gregg and I will tell everyone I know. That is not life! That is Karma, Ken!

It's not the company it's the product

AUTHOR: Kimberlyann - (U.S.A.)

I have to say after reading all these negative reports, it's not the companies fault, it's the maker of the products. Sure it's hard to get a service repair person out at a proper time, but you have to remember there are other people with problems that might take longer than the problem you have. I have a tv that I got from HH Gregg and I noticed that there is something wrong with it, they replaced it a week later and the same problem is there. It's not necessarily HH Greggs fault that something isn't working right. I mean if you bought something from a different store, you'd complain about the store. When you purchase something, it's in a box..they have no way of knowing if it's defective or not. You can always request the store models, but people don't like to do that because they want something new in a box. Anytime I buy something that happens to be defective whether it's a big or little purchase I don't blame the store, I blame the company that made it because it either wasn't properly packaged, or it didn't pass inspection right.

I'm not saying everyone is wrong in complaining about where they purchased their products, but you have to remember they are a store selling products out to make a profit as well. I know for a fact that you can always call corporate numbers to get the solutions you need if you are not satisfied with what the store is doing for you. Every store can not refuse to give you the number. I have friends that work there and a significant other that works there as well so I know what rules they have to follow and the steps they have to take in the stores. As for corporate, I'm not sure..you'd have to ask a manager.

But all I'm saying is don't blame retailers for your defective product, blame the manufactures and contact them to see if they will give you better service if you are not happy with any store service.

#3 UPDATE EX-employee responds

That's not how it should have been handled.

AUTHOR: Coulditbe - (U.S.A.)

I am a former employee of another HH Gregg very close to the franklin location. I'm pretty sure i know who Ken is. Very lazy man! Anywho your dryer should have been replaced without questions. You should get in contact with corporate or Brad Salow. Brad Salow I believe is still the regional manager. Your dryer will get replaced if you contact corporate. I've seen it a million times. Hope I helped in any way.
