1. Horrible Customer Service!!, takes at least 10 minutes to get a human on the phone.
2. Official Check 7-10 business days, ya right, it has been close to a month!!!
3. 50 cent pin based fee and outrageous fees altogether that are designed to encourage responsible spending...ya right, first of all I don't need a financial institution telling me how to be responsible, second that reason in general is BS, the fee's are designed to make someone very rich!!!
This is sleazy business model designed to nickel and dime the students!!! a SCAM in other words, I am a little surprised why they have not been shut down yet, I bet it has something to do with a little something called lobbying and super-pacs though. Bottom line these people need to be shut down and fined. The business model is designed to take advantage of naive students and tax payer money, another indication of a broken system and corrupt bankers!!! Go to Hell Higher One!!!

Higher One does not delay refunds. In fact, your school partnered with Higher One to deliver your refund quicker and with more options. Now your school can offer you more ways to get your money with an online setup thats easier to use. With Higher One, youll have 2 to 3 different ways to get your money. Before Higher One, many students had no choice but to wait for a paper check. With Higher One, students can choose to receive their refund electronically in as little as 2 days into the bank of their choice, electronically the same day by opening up a Higher One account, or through a traditional paper check which takes 5-7 days. Higher One releases the funds to students the day it receives them, provided the student has indicated how he would like to receive the refund. Its always free for students to receive their refunds, per standards set by the Department of Education.
As for the OneAccount, it is not mandatory, but more than 2 million students have voluntarily chosen to use it nationwide because it works well for them.
