Hippocratic Solutions - Peter Koukounas Hired us to complete work to fix his internal system and never paid Fairfield New Jersey

Peter contacted us to fix an error with his internal database - it was running slowly and needed some improvement.  Peter said that developer who was working on it abruptly stopped the work and he wasn't able to contact him.  My company set up a conference call with him and he gave us access to the system via VPN.  We diagnosed the problem and submitted a proposal that stated 50% of the cost was to be paid up front and the rest upon delivery.  He paid the first 50%, we completed the work and he was very happy.  So happy that he even asked us about adding more features to the system.  We were happy to work with him further, but we needed to get paid for the first project before starting a second.  Peter assured me that he would be sending out payment that week....that was in October of 2013.  Since then, we've called Peter at work and on his cell and have sent numerous invoices via email and USPS.  It's ironic that someone in the billing industry would do the this and not honor a contract.  Luckily, NJ only charges $39 to file a lawsuit, so that's what we will be doing.  I'd advise that anyone who is doing any kind of business with Peter Koukounas get the money up front.  I've seen several other posts about Peter on Ripoff Report and he responds to them and says that they're false.  I can tell you that I've spoken to several people, including doctors that he deals with and they have all told me the same thing...that's he's not trustworthy.
