What the hell is going on at His and Hers Auctions?  How are they staying in business?  Paul Waller offers other peoples trash and giveaways for sale at his auctions.  Of course, they do get the occasional antique or unique item but then charge a 50% commission (Yes...I said 50%!!) and then give your stuff to buyers who basically walk off with your items.  Paul Waller may as well just give the stuff away!  I am sure he goes to bed every night thankful that that the area's senior citizens, laid off workers, the sick and ill, and the heirs of the deceased how no idea how auctions and ethical business practices work everywhere else in the world and will fall for Paul Waller's propaganda and pay the huge fees.  And for what?  Look at their auction zip pictures.  They are upside down, out of focus, duplicated, and untitled.  I do not even know what I am looking at half the time.  No problem...just read the descriptions on their website.  Oops, that's right, they have no descriptions for any of their items.  Well, at least you can go the preview during the week before the auction.  Wrong again!  You only get 120 minutes right before the auction to see the hundreds of items that will be auctioned...that is, if they can find the item.  And even if they do find it, don't ask any questions because they have no idea what they are auctioning...not even a shred!  Fortunately, that doesn't seem to bother Paul Waller and he will feed you a bunch of crap that is false just before telling you that everything is "as is...no returns...no guarantee...blah, blah, blah.)

So what is the 50% commission for?  Call me old school, but where I come from you pay for a "service" and the amount you pay is reflective of the "service" you receive.  If taking a crappy picture and then giving your stuff away is a "service" then they deserve every penny because they are great at doing that!!  How is what they are doing legal?  It is certainly not ethical or moral!!  Someone needs to look into their operation and tell me how what they are doing isn't in violation of some law; an auction law, consumer law, commerce law, etc.  Their website says, "as professionals we stand behind our reputation..."  Professional what?  What reputation?  They say they are brand new to auctions, have never owned or run a business
before, and their doors are only open a few hours a week so that they can go to their full-time jobs.  I guess that is what happens when a guy who knows nothing about auctions, nothing about being an auctioneer, and nothing about the items he is auctioning opens an auction house!  Have no doubt about it.  Paul Waller will probably survive in business by
feeding off of others desperation and their huge fees.  But he will not stay in business for long!!!   Wise up people!  There are dozens of other auction houses in the area that execute their auctions in an ethical and morally sound manner.  Auction houses that have professionals that stand behind their reputation!
