I was contacted on the phone by some company,They told me I just won a paid vacation of my choose.Either a cruse vacation or a land trip to Las Vagas.I ased the gentleman if it was one of those telemarketing program you have to sit through a 90 minute presentation to get the trip.He replied no,you won a sweepstakes!That was totally paid for.And all I had to do is go to Sacromento,Ca.and pick up my tickets and ect.I asked him several times if it was going to cost me anything.He replied several times,That it would not cost me.Not one dime.

So I accepted the price,Went to Sacramento,Ca. from Redding,Ca.A hundred and some odd miles to pick up the tickets.After just having a major back surgery,and going against my surgeons orders not to travel.When we got there,They told us that we had to choose between trips.And pay for the flights to get to the cruse in Florida!Right there I knew it was a telemarketing.That we had to sit through. Now I was getting a little upset!!

So I told them we wasn't there for that program,that I had won a sweepstakes for my choose of the two trips.And was imformed by there guy on the phone, That it wasn't a telemarketing program. And that it would not cost me a dime.So he replyed that they were the only one by the name and address the guy on the phone gave me. And that our names were on the list.And that the guy that called me didn't work for them!! Which right there proved they were lying, Right?

So we had to choose the Vagas trip,since it was the cheapest trip plus they payed for the flight to get us there!We only had to pay the taxes of 80.00. Which I paid to Holiday Travel of America. Along with three different date we wanted to go. We would get which ever one,was avilable.He then said that we would also have to sit though the presentation to get the gift!

Right then I stopped him,and demanded to talk to the superviser.When he came out,I explained the whole situation to him. That if he wanted to go against my surgeons orders, Here's his phone number! The manager then said that we didn't have to sit through it,and we could have our gift as promised.Which we were givin'the certificates to begin the process.

I sent in my choosen dates, Three all togethere,and my $80.00 for taxes.Well they sent back a letter with the dates on it.Saying, If for some reason i'm not contacted 45 days before my first travel date.Assume that flght was sold out,and we sould go to the next date of the three,and so on.

They never did contact me!and all dates went by!!Now what!!! That's where I am now,Scamed!!I think someone should do something about these kind of scam artistes don't you???

The phone game

Claiming that you did not give them a proper phone number is a tactic this company uses. I played the "phone game" with this company for over a year. They contintued to tell me that the check was "in the mail". When I did finally get the check, I deposited it in my account, only to find out the the company placed a "stop payment" on it. This caused my account to become overdrawn. If there is a class action law suit against this company, I hope I'm included.
