I bought a 2000 Montero Sport from JOSH CRAWFORD and BRIAN HOLMES at HOLMES MOTORS 2 weeks ago I didnt even get to tag the car before the motor started knocking two lifters were tapping pretty loudly and my wheel bearings were bad...I wasnt too upset at first because I WAS TOLD THAT I HAD A WARRANTY AND NOT TO WORRY IF ANYTHING WENT WRONG WITH THE VEHICLE...YEA RIGHT!!! I brought the car back to JOSH, a guy my husband and I have known for YEARS....someone we thought wouldnt rip us off just for a little commission.....BOY WERE WE WRONG!! They wouldnt do anything for me they told me the noise wasnt loud enough yet....and when I got upset my car salesman JOSH CRAWFORD told me that he was tired of hearing me bitch.....it took all i had not to blow up on him.....I mean i am a customer i am paying them they arent paying me i cant believe he talked to me that way, well since I only had a 3 month warranty on the car I didnt want to wait to have it fixed...because I knew that it would take longer than 3 months for the motor to blow up...and then i would be stuck paying for it even though i had already addressed the issue to the company.....they just wanted to wait so i would have to pay the bill.....well i raised hell and they decided they were gonne take me out of that vehicle.....BRIANS EXACT words to me were "we have to get you out of that vehicle because if we dont and that motor blows up a year from now and you addressed the issue already and we REFUSED to fix it then thats our ass!" YOU DAMN RIGHT that wouldve been there ass! they tried to feed me some bullshit about getting a different car....not one i wanted but one they wanted to stick me in......i refused of course because at this point the OWNER BILL HOLMES had already told JOSH to tell me to "TAKE MY F***ING ASS UP THE STREET AND GO BUY A CAR FROM SOMEONE ELSE" so they gave me SOME of my down payment back...not even ALL of it and I went to another dealership, one that I am very happy with Witter Auto Sales in D'iberville MS they were great they financed me through a BANK not no "IN HOUSE" like holmes did to me. and they gave me an AWESOME WARRANTY!!!! A REAL WARRANTY!!! SO MY ADVICE TO ANYONE BUYING A CAR DONT GO TO HOLMES MOTORS THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF....AND "AS IS" DOES STAND WITH BILL HOLMES
