We also have been a vitim of HomEq. For some reason we never found out why but they raised our payment amount. They told us that it was a certain amount. We would send that amount. Two weeks later we would get the check back saying that they didn't accept partial payments. They also had changed there phone numbers.

We would call them to try to find out how much the payment was. They said that we had to talk to David Knight. We couldn't talk to anyone else about the payment amount. We tried many times to get a hold of David Knight. We never could.

This went on for months. So we kept getting farther and farther behind on our payments because of this. Well they foreclosed on us in 2001. We never got a registered letter or anything. But somehow all the right paper work showed up in our file at the title company.

The only thing we got from them is a regular first class letter from the company that was handling the foreclosure, not even HomEq. Well by the time it got here to us it was to late to do anything.

We all need to get together and file a class action law suit against them. They are ruining a lot of peoples credit and lives they need to be stopped in there tracks. If something like this happened back in the old times they would be hung for things like this.
