If you are a retailer needing a delivery service - I URGE YOU TO RESEARCH THEM VERY CAREFULLY. They robbed my business blind! They are Masters of Deception and they truly are a scam operation. It is so hard to believe how they have remained in operation. I think Costco still uses Home Direct. At one time my account representative bragged that Costo doesnt take the time to file claims with Home Direct because they are such a large company and dont have the time. My opinion is they've been taking advantage of Costco for years!
As far as keeping your customer's happy - forget it! Look at the number of complaints reported to the better business bureau - those could be your customers!
If you are a Retailer and have filed a claim with Home Direct for damaged or lost freight as well as billing issues - DON'T FALL FOR THEIR "CLAIM SCAM". Immediately dispute all charges with your credit card company. HDU will tell you to just file a claim and wait up to 120 days for them to make a decision. They do this to run up your window of 60 days to file a dispute with your credit card company. IT'S A TRAP!
Never, ever pay them with a check!!!
If any Retailers have pre-paid for their shipping and it's been almost 60 days and Home Direct USA has not delivered your shipment- FILE A CREDIT CARD DISPUTE FOR THE CHARGES HOME DIRECT PLACED ON YOUR CREDIT CARDS. Never let any transactions with them go beyond 50 days without a clear delivery signed by your customers.
Anyone reading this, try sending and email to any of their service reps, billing personel and even executives - they all have out of office messages on their email -EVERY SINGLE DAY!!
Just for fun - call their customer service line at 1-800-611-6302 and select 3 for for customer service. Chances are you will sit and listen to music and no one will ever come to the phone. I just did it - I've been listening to music for 12 minutes. This is how they will treat your customers. You will have to deal directly with your own customers about their deliveries because Home Direct won't answer.
Retailers - you customers will cancel because neither you or them can get any information out of Home Direct regarding their deliveries.
They know they are ripping off their Retailers ......... and they are doing what it takes not to be revealed for who they really are. This post will likely come down because they know the ins and out's of how to cover up their fraud.
They even have their own websites using search words like "Home Direct Scam" and "Home Direct Rip Off" that diverts you to their own ficticious reviews and so many lies about themselves it is unbelievable.
RETAILERS - BEWARE OF HOME DIRECT USA. THEY SCAMMED ME FOR OVER $25,000 IN LESS THAN 60 DAYS. I LOST THE MAJORITY OF ALL OF THE CUSTOMERS I TRUSTED TO THEM.
