Home Eq Services took over my loan in 2006 and my life has been hell ever since. My husband was the only one working in August 2007 and was unable to work for nine months. During that time we fell two months behind on our mortgage and asked EQ services for help. They insisted we pay them a month and half payment but we could not, so they agreed to take a one month payment. We quick collected the payment to them and they agreed to let us make a two month payment at the beginning of the next month. However, a week later we got a notice that our funds had been refunded and our home would be foreclosed. They told us that they had already scheduled a forecloseure sale on our home. We were forced to file a ch. 13 bankruptcy to save our home. Please note that my husband and I were both working as school teachers by this time and would have been able to make the payments.

The lender that Eq Services bought our home from had put us in a sub-prime loan which we were assured we would be able to re-finance in two years.
Now, we are asking Eq services to modify our loan per the Obama plan and they insist we do not qualify. Our bankruptcy attorney insist we do qualify. Please help!! This company is a fraud.
