I saw an ad in some newspaper for stuffing envelopes at home so I called the number to check it out. A message said that I would have to pay a $25 deposit that would be returned to me triple ($75) on ym first paycheck. Also I would get an additional up front $225 cash sign up bonus. I thought I had nothing to lose.
I get a letter from LaTeashia Sherman Home Stuffers PO Box 1756 Hiram GA 30141 with intructions on what to do. I find out I have to send $5 to Training and Aftercare Center PO box 312 Akron AL 35441. The letter said if no response in 14 days to contact them. I remember sending a second letter requesting my materials.
I called the "Home Employment Hotline" 1-212-615-6424 and it always just rang busy no matter when I tried. I eventually got my training packet which then only requested me to get a PO Box and send them lots of personal information including my bank account luckly this letter doesn't want to go trough.
Yeah I'll admit I was a desperate college student trying to earn money for rent bills and school and I knew this sounded too good to be true and I've even dealt with scams before. But when you really need money its almost like you are addicted to keep trying to find something that works. It is hard to get those letters in the mail of people who did something simple and became rich.
Anyhow, when I mailed the info for the #4 Training and Aftercare Center it got returned to me with false address, which the address doesn't exist. The first red note was to notify me of a new addressee. Training and Aftercare Center PO Box 870426 Mesquite TX 75187-0426
The second return was due to addressees violation of postal false representation law tx 76161. I didn't understand what that meant until I found this website showing me how many differently people have also been scamed. I did started to wonder what was going on.
I had sent another envelope to the #4 Training and Aftercare Center at the Mesquite TX address because I wanted a to get started with my home stuffing employment with a self addressed stamped envelope to send me more information on the materials I still need. That also got sent back to me covered with red note stamped. Southwest Training and Aftercare Center PO BOX 870426 MESQUITE TX 75187-0426. And the red note stamped was again the return to sender due to addressees violation of postal false representation law.
I would like my money back $25 plus $3 for the three shipments I paid off and the stamps I used to send them my application and information repeatedly. I wish to be contacted if a lawsuit is to be formed for these people. I have the copies of all the papers which involve with this case. I was surprised to find other people who had gone through the same situation as me and others. I hope these people are caught and we all can get our money back.
