The first thing you need to do is don't pay any attention to whut? She/He is employed by HomEq. All she/he wants to do on here is to make you feel like a low life so they feel better about lying to all of us. A very important thing to do first of all is to stay off the phone. Unless you can legally record in your state the only thing the phone does is gives them the perfect opportunity to lie to you and you have no proof. The phone is their weapon of choice. Get anything and everything in writing.
You cand send a formal letter called a "Qualified Written Request". You can find out how to write one online. Just google it. You have to state in the letter that it is a formal "Qualified Written Request". You need to send one and ask for information on your loan. According to RESPA laws they have 20 days to acknowledge your request and 60 days to respond.
You need to send the letter and ANY corrospendence with them certified with return receipt. Also send your payments certified. If you have any questions regarding your account demand to know in this letter. Any thing you can get in writing the better off you are. You can also report to them that if they do not cooperate you will report them to the proper authorities. Get everything in writing.
Believe you me they will not stop here. You, like so many of us out here are going to have to protect yourself from these thieves. They are out for your blood. There are many companies pulling the same schemes that HomEq is. Check out msfraud. You will find a lot of helpful information out there and ways to protect yourself. Staying off the phone and certified mail is only the beginning. If you ask for advice on msfraud they are quite helpful. They can make suggestions to you. Check it out. And ignore Whut?

1) once again I do not work for Homeq
2) if I thought it would matter I would send you a check stub from my job...but it is none of your business...if I could sue you for stating I work for HomEq I would after all you have stated it more than once in writing on a public forum
3) yes HomEq is making loans fixed rate, my friends payment went down $400.00 a month...and yes she did have to do paper work to get it done but she completed all of it
4) as for making people feel bad about being in trouble with their home loans, most people take ownership of their mistakes and not blame everyone else for them, I am not the only person who did not agree with you, just because I live in California I am part of your problem
5) WAMU is in IL and so are you, the only problem I ever had with my loan was when WAMU had it...shame on you!
