For all of you dealing with the NIGHTMARE of HomEq Servicing: First of all stay off the phone. You only get one lie after another. All inquiries should be in writing. You can request your information in a letter. Get some advice on how to format it if you can. In the letter you have to sepecify that you are submitting a "QUALIFIED WRITTEN REQUEST" and put that at the beginning of your letter. (example: We are submitting a QUALIFIED WRITTEN REQUEST TO YOUR COMPANY. We are DEMANDING a full and complete disclosure of any and all account activity information to the above listed account)Make sure to send it CERTIFIED. Make it clear what you want. Give them enough information but not too much. You can demand any information regarding your account. Write a paragraph explainting what you want. Then in numerical order list each thing that you want. If you want information regarding the actual lender specify that. BE SPECIFIC. Tell them you want the Name, Address, and any/all phone numbers regarding the Actual lender of the loan. At the end of your letter put

cc: (send a carbon copy to your lawyer if you have one, including your bankruptcy lawyer if you have one use his/her initals) ex. HHH, atty
If they fail to give you information they are in contempt.
We have just started this process. We are also sending for our phone records to show each and every time we talked to them.
We sent 2 payments by phone, and they were what they called "dishonored".
No other explaination. The first check took them 14 days to get back, so they say. After I sent a complaint to the BBB, I get a letter from them stating that my checks were returned due to "account not found". First I heard of this. Never once were we notified to verify our account. Then they sent the SECOND check through!!!!??? Sounds funny to me. They SAY they could not cash the first check due to "account not found", yet with out any NEW information, they send the second check through!!?? OH!! and it took 14 days before they SAY the second check was "dishonored". So much for electronic payments being posted on time. It's a wast of time to call them. When our first check did not clear, we were originally told that our first check was DUPLICATED, and assured that our second check went through. The first check was NOT DUPLICATED and the bank said that didn't matter, that they could have cashed it anyway. Then when they called to say the second check did not clear either, I knew they were up to something. These people will lie to you to make sure they can drain your bank account. They are evil.
