When I asked if my insurance went up they said "NO", when I asked if my taxes went up they again said "NO", when I asked if my mortgage went up - again "NO". So what the HELL are you raising my monthly payment by $22.00 a month for? The unacceptable answer was that it was a policy that "THEY" established to have "DOUBLE" the "ESTIMATED" amount required to pay my taxes and insurance. Get it - Their "DOUBLE ESTIMATE".
It sounds like a neat way of extracting interest free money from the defenseless home owner who doesn't have any say or rights as to who buys their mortgage. Personaly, I am getting sick and tired of shopping around for what I consider to be the better mortgage company, only to find out in 30 to 90 days, its been sold to some slinky oufit. I didn't want HomeSide Lending to be my mortgage company but we all are getting force fed this crap.
This is my seventh home and I have never once ended up with my original mortgage company. One of them even managed to screw up my credit rating because I paid the previous mortgage holder the monthly payment and the new one said I needed to pay them for the same month.
I promptly told them I don't make two house payments a month and if they wanted it - Go get it from the company you just bought my mortgage from. Guess what, I was reported as being one month payment late in my credit report. They are slimy SOB's and I really think its time to take action on this. P.S. - Don't get me started on Credit Reporting Agencies - Thats a whole story in itself and would take more room then I have here. I'd like to here from some more of you fed up HOMESIDE LENDING prisoners. REMEMBER - Their is strength in numbers.
