We did a loan modification with Homecomings which was approved at the end of April and made a loan payment. I called them the next business morning with concerns about our paperwork we had signed. Since no one walked us through the paperwork or explained anything to us. We where told to just sign and send back. When I called we where told the dates where wrong on our paperwork and it would be corrected.We where told our next payment wasn't do until June 1st serval times. We where told to ignore the letters and phone calls and not to worry the system would be updated. We are now getting foreclosure notices in the mail as well as false negative credit ratings on our credit reports. The company claimed to be fixing it since april. Every time I called we where told Not To Worry! The where correcting the problems. They now are saying they won't fix it and that we are in default for quit a bit of money. After telling them dates and times of our conversations with this department. They still refuse to correct this wrong information. We have been lied to by this company. We did only what we where told by the loan modification department. The account rep still wont return our calls. I was told on 3 different dates that they would fix our credit reports and loan docs. They haven't tried to resolve this complaint. I have not reported them to the BBB, California Attorney General, and KRON 4 news consumer watch.
