I rented my residence in September 08, and the tenant failed to pay the rent in October 08, Homecomings placed my partial payment of $600 of the $900 in suspense. Therefore, in November '08 I was now 2 months delinquent and going through the eviction proceedings. Homecomings sent someone to the property on three occasions to change the locks while I was conducting repairs to the property. I rented the property in December '08. Homecomings refused my payment and returned my check. They immediately went to foreclosure proceedings. I applied for a loan modification and did not hear from them. I contacted the attorney and told them I was not delinquent, none the less they proceeded with serving the property with the foreclosure notices in January 09. I reached a loan repayment plan in February 09. I paid accordingly; Homecomings proceeded with serving the Foreclosure notice in March '09 scaring away the tenant who vacated in April, stating that I breached the contract by not paying my rent. I can not take the tenant to Court to recoup my funds and I can not make the loan repayments because of their direct actions to proceed with a forced foreclosure.
This company sucks and they should go into bankruptcy.
