My mother who is under Court Ordered guardianship let 2 of Home Meat Market's sales people into her house. She has a homecare person who was present and tried to cancel any possible transaction by telling the sales folks "She under guardianship she can't contract for services. You need to talk to her daughter who is the guardian." They continued with their pitch, got her credit card number & charged $390.00 to her account for 3 cases of meat. She can't eat regular sized meals & rarely eats meat! Each case has "75 servings"...
The credit card company has issued a dispute, a police report with the Lakewood Police Dept is being filed and our attorney is also getting involved because they were told of the Guardianship & her inability to contract for services, plus they were told to cancel the transaction and not charge her card within an hour of these people leaving her house.
Their website isn't working and the phone number in Oregon disconnects.
