Homeq Mortgage Servicing No mailing coupons and no account stmts and now they're filing a foreclosure because they claim no pymts in 3 months. ripoff Raleigh North Carolina

I have had a 2nd mortgage since 1999 although Homeq Mtg Servicing was assigned this account only a few years ago. About 2 years agoo they stopped sending me coupons and despite phone calls and letters did not reinstitute. Recently, I began receiving dunning letters from them and also the return of some of my montly checks by the post office indicating they're mailing address was no longer valid.

Now they claim no payments in 3 months and have started foreclosure. Payments were made each month despite no coupons and no account statement.

Now in calling their Loss Mitigation Dept. to reinstate the loan they are demanding 3k in Attorney fees and other charges.

To add fuel to the fire, They gave me account wiring instructions and I've wired them there claimed reinstatement amount, only for the wire to come back as not being a valid account number for them.

I'm now researching if this is not a RESPA violation as well as bad faith conduct by this company
