Homeside Lending Washington Mutual Foreclosure nightmare including lies returned payments poorly written agreements lost and then found payment Jacksonville Florida

They have made me desperate and weak. After a divorce I contacted them to advise wanted to begin catching up (after 3 months late). Could not talk to anyone, including the attorney I was referred to, they sent back my payment.

I hired a company to get in touch with them and set up a plan. The original contract was sent to an unknown address, an unknown person, in a totally different state. I finally got the contract. I followed the plan to the tee and sent in the 1st 2 payments. They were returned with no explaination except that I was not paying enough. Attempts to then contact Homeside was futal. I hired another company. Same thing.

Contract with wrong dates, wrong years, wrong amounts, wrong payment address. Initial payment received by them and cashed. Next 2 never cashed. After 2 weeks with no calls returned, I finally reached someone who told me they had the payments but they had been accidentally put in a 'dead file' (exact words). They were then forwarded to someone else who said all was ok and the plan would resume.

After payments still not cashed, called them, and was advised that they had accidentally been returned to me but I still don't have them because they were sent to an unknown address in a totally different state. But all is supposed to be 'ok' again!

In the meantime, I yesterday received a notice that my home will be sold at auction in 30 days. But, Homeside/WM says not to worry. they have stopped that. Just need to stop payment on the money that was sent back to me (to the wrong address so I have no idea who has these bank checks)and re-send it to WM. I can't trust them. what do I do?
