Hometown America Equity Lifestyle Properties Biggest Scam in Rockland, Massachusetts

Hometown America and Equity Lifestyle Properties are the biggest scammers around. They only care about the 55+ communities and make profit off of the non-55+ to fund the amenities of the 55+.

The Lot fee has gone up $150 in the past two years. I live next door to an abandoned property that was bought out by Equity Lifestyle and it is full of animals and about to cave in any day. Nothing has been done. I pay almost $600 per month for 'snow removal and trash pickup'.  Wow, it didn't snow this year and trash pickup decides when it wants to come.  You have people who have insider stuff fixing stuff up and trying to sell. One property selling for $1000. People would not invest in this place if they knew better.

I am certain they are jacking the lot fees to save for the major takeovers they plan to take when more of the population ages. I live next to a deserted mobile that has cats and wild animals going in and out. Nothing has been done.

While I made a stupid choice buying this here, I can only tell others to not bother and be warned. Talk to your local selectmen and go to all local meetings if you want to meet those who 'run these places and supposedly live in them too'. RIPOFF!!!!!
