Homeward Residential Inc formerly American Home Mortgage Servicing Inc pd my tax bills as delinquent, i repaid them , was turned down for HAMP, got letter stating the reason for denial is that they can make morfe money by foreclosing on the property Coppell, Texas

In June of 2012 Homeward Residential Inc paid my tax bills for that year stating they were delinquent. This is untrue.  Per the tax bills I have and conversations I had with my tax bureaus the taxes are not delinquent unless they are not paid by the end of the calendar year.  These monies were repaid to the mortgage company.  Homeward Residential still insisted the taxes were delinquent and would not cancel the escrow account they set up.  This action resulted in mortgage payments higher than we could afford.

Per their suggestion we applied for HAMP (federal loan modification).  Our application was denied. Per the letter received, the reason given is that the mortgage company can realize a bigger profit by foreclosing on our property.

Also, they have previous payments that we made on our mortgage that they have refused to apply to the mortgage.  They are holding the payments in a fund, which makes our mortgage appear to be delinquent.

After receipt of letter denying our loan modification application we have been unable to reach and/or speak with anyone at Homeward Residential Inc.
