        To anybody who has a mortgage serviced by AHMSI/Homeward resident my advice to you is fight them. My mortgage is serviced by these thieves and they have tried to escrow my account several times. I told them they cannot do that because they just cant mod the terms I my mortgage contract. I have been paying my own taxes and insurance since these thieves took over servicing the mortgage. You, to remember one thing always they are a collection agency and have no authority to foreclose or change any terms of the original documents. As of now anything is under my control that until they try something else. When we tried to get a loan mod from them that is when they will try all different ways to escrow you. I my cases the payments were $200.00 higher than I was paying. 
        If per chance they send you documents that mod you mortgage for reason do not pay them the new amount, because if you do that means you agree to the new amount. Pay the amount you have been paying. If they send it back you send it right back to them. They try this stunt with us and I and my wife did not go for it. They finally stop sending the payment back. This company will try to put you arrears any way they can, but if you keeping sending the payment back they cant do anything to you. As long as you make the effort to pay the original amount on the mortgage bond it will stand up in court. If I could refi I would to get away from these thieves, but the loan is upside down and no bank will touch it. One thing to do is get a online account with them this way you can check out you account at least 2 to 3 times a month. Hopefully the info provided will help other Homeward account holders.
