The first time i saw Judge Barbara Jaffe was she was yelling at a crippled lady bending down over the poor lady yelling at her.
Judge Barbara Jaffe tried to destroy my dream by telling me to give up quest my dream of 15 years without allowing me to finish presenting my case without reason.
Judge Barbara Jaffe lied and made up the false statement I will never know whether what i own is a print of not.
Art experts have told what Judge Barbara Jaffe said was false and was oly said to hurt me.
Judge Barbara Jaffe allowed my witness to be badgered by my opponent's lawyer.
The defendant's lawyer did not have to say much, the judge won the case for him by making things up.
Judge Barbara Jaffe did not allow my other witness's to speak after waiting for 3 hours on hard court benches. She did the on purpose.
Judge Barbara Jaffe allowed the court guard stand in front of me and roll his eyes and trying look bored while i presented my case to the court. the court guard had an ear ring in his ear making the most horrible expression trying to hurt my presentation to the court. i am convinced Judge Barbara Jaffe told the guard to stand in fornt of me to hurt my case.
The 80 year old man I came to court with was not allowed to speak believed Judge Barbara Jaffe was paid off.
Judge Barbara Jaffe allowed subjective hurtful statements she gathered outside the court room giving no proof what the judge said in final findings.
Judge Barbara Jaffe is unprofessional and a liar. She should not be allowed to have this important job.

There is a complaint filed under Judge Barbara Jaffe at the New York Attorney general 's office consumer fraud department.
John Cahill gave Jaffe a big election campaign money contribution after being treated so poorly and dishonestly.
No lawyer can believe a judge would make 30 page opinion for a small claims case and they say the my case should have been thrown out of small claims and into a bigger court. But proceeded to cover up an important work of art.

John R Cahill of Lynn and Cahill, lawyer who lied and cheated me by stealing private emails from me

I beg to differ with the person who wrote that the description of Judge Jaffe was wrong and/or misleading. The original description was right on target.Judge Barbara Jaffe is an angry, miserable woman who takes out her own self-hatred on those who appear before her in court. I have appeared before Judge Jaffe as well. She harangued and humiliated me, did not allow me to speak or present my case because I did not have a lawyer. She mocked and disrespected me throughout the proceeding.
When she found against me, after telling me in court she would find against me without reviewing any documents or allowing me to tell my side of the story, she wrote a detailed description of why she found against me. This description contained no information relevant as to why I had appeared in her court.
Judge Barbara Jaffe is justice run amok. She is a hateful, hateful person, an untrustworthy judge, a travesty on the bench.
There is no excuse for what appears to be Judge Barbara Jaffe's on-going behavior. She uses her seat not to apply justice but to viciously wield her own irrational unchecked rage. She is a nightmare as a judge, a joke, a judicial falsehood, whose outrageous behavior in any other setting would imply the need for a swift psychiatric intervention.

Greg Kitchen Misjudges Judge Barbara Jaffe

Read the complaint here carefully to see the following admissions: (i) The judge stayed until 11:30 pm at night; (ii) the judge wrote an opinion of over 30 pages! Sounds like a dedicated, careful judge to me. In fact, you can find this case, a solid piece of scholarship, on legal databases, called Kitchen v. Sothebys. And this was a small claims case! Kitchen (the sore loser here) should have lost his case outright, but the judge allowed his reargument -- bending over backwards for him -- and allowed his additional evidence. Then she writes a 32-page opinion -- for a small claims case, which is unheard of -- and gets his complaint on google for her troubles. File this under no good deed goes unpunished.

When i tell lawyers and everyday people about Cahill they cringe, give a look of digust and say lawyers who give fake postal receipts in court are sleazeballs and only low life bill collectors lawyers types of lawyers do these illegal of things.
They also say i did good considering how bias, mean and one sided the judge acted in my case.
if cahill, starr, jaffe think they did goo y power to them, if that how they win using sleazeball tactics.
By the way the document Cahill wrote the judge Mendaz, that Starr kept, not returning to me is missing from the court room files.
so again right for a fair appeal has been taken because of blank postal receipts and stolen documents from the court room file and judge Jaffe did not care.

John R Cahill and his firm Lynn and Cahill, lied to the judge and me saying I received a certified letter and never got it Cahill is a pathological liar who said I received a letter by certified letter in 4 different court briefs. The trial with judge Barabra Jaffe, lawyer John r cahill and greg Starr reminded me of trials in the 1930's in germany where the German government took stole from innocent people without reason and that latter exterminating people.
People like Jaffe, Cahill, and Star is why New York State is in financial trouble and has many corrupt people running the government.

Gregg Strarr, lawyer did not return all my important original documents pertained to my
opponent and tried to convince me I did not have a case. I went to Greg
Starr lawyer to get advice about John R, Cahill lawyer using my private emails in legal briefs that he demanded I send him while pretending to want me to hire him to represent me. Gregg Starr demanded I leave all of original legal documents about my opponent with him. all the papers I gave were never returned and started to attack me.
When Gregg Starr attacked my case, i asked to return my documents not everything was there. I was told it was unprofessional of him to ask me to leave original documents with a lawyer but i believed the guy. It turns out this man is a liar. No only did Greg Starr take papers that were very important from me but it turned out i had a case and am perusing it now. Gregg Starr is a back stabber he knew my opponent all the time and set me up leaving papers with him. He is a very mean man.
Stay Away from Gregg Starr and John Cahill. Boy what lawyers will do to give themselves a bad name. Before dealing with him check him out.

A lawyer said, what John R. Cahill, Lynn & Cahill LLP lawyer did was use my privileged emails he requested I send him concerning my personal private legal problems while soliciting me to hire him; than used my privileged information against me in court while representing my opponent.
John R Cahill never warned me of attorney-client relationships and privileged emails when he demanded that I send important information by email to his office Lynn and Cahill. I never saw his web site of the warning or did he ever give me a written or verbal warning. In addition John R Cahill demanded I communicate with him entirely through emails and told me to tell him everything about my legal problems.
It was only after John R Cahill demanded I drop the case against my opponent and I refuse that he uses my privileged emails I sent him in court briefs against me. The different judges threw out all 4 breifs of John Cahill. John Cahill lied to me and stole private information to use against me in court and lost.
John R. Cahill is a bad dishonest lawyer, who wasted money for his client because the case really never needed to go to court. John R Cahill of Lynn and Cahill lost in court too.
Mr Cahill obtained privileged email under false pretenses and used them against me. There are rules created for just this reason.

Judge Jaffe said i would not ever authenicate a work of art without reason. This false and subjective statement was intended to destroy my life's dream of authenicating a work of art and was given without any proof or literature. I have no trust in legalel system.
Judge jaffe did not require my opponents lawyer give copies of documents the lawyer gave presented to the court Nor did she allow me to read but allowend my opponrets lawyer to read from documents.
Ii hope this judge never gets promoted. She is a bad one. When I saw Judge Barbabra Jaffe yelling at the woman who was crippled at the beginning of the night i knew she was a bad one.
After coming to court 4 times seeing 3 different judges as a result of being postponed my opponent's lawyer. The night my case was finally to be heard, judge Jaffe had the my witness who are old wait 3 1/2 hours on hard benches for my case to be heard.
She is uncaring of peole and old people. We did not get out of the court room until 11:30 pm and even than would only allow one person to testify for me out of the five who came with me.
I don't think I have ever felt more ripped off in my 56 years of life than meeting judge Barbara Jaffe. i had over one inch file of evidence and none of it was admitted and no reason was ever given. Shame on her. Jaffe gives judges bad names.

When i complined to the cheif judge they said i could appeal but will trust a judge again.
