This company hired several young men in the area with trucks to be trained in hooking up cable for Dish Network, they were sent to Atlanta, Ga for very little training. When complete sent out to hook up cable for customers all over with no order at all. This is explained as a sub-contractor job when in fact they were given more jobs than they could handle at one time, insisted the tech stay at a customers house until complete which sometimes was past 12 o'clock at night (unbelievable) and then was not paid for the jobs when signed off on by the customer. When they requested their pay they were told the person that could get them paid was not in the office, this happen over and over again. They were also told they had to continue to do the jobs on their list or would not get paid at all. Finally the group of men decided they were being scammed and wanted out and they were told unless they continued to work they wouldn't see their money. It has been several months and many attempts to collect on the completed jobs and Horizon won't return calls about the issue. This is a group of men not just one person this happen to. Also they were told they would be sent a 1099 for their pay. I want all to know this so they don't make the same mistake by agreeing to work with this group. I would like to speak with an attorney about a class action law suit. We have our paperwork from the customers showing work was completed. Just one of the subcontractors is owed over $2000.00, some was more. They are also out the gas and expenses while working for this company.
