On Sunday, June 24, 2007 - I entered a report saying that I had read several stories of abuse by Horizon Technologies - which I had joined the previous
After some communications with the company, I decided it was not the easy home business that I had been lead to believe - which cost me $2,449.00. I should have known better as I am a senior citizen, but Joe had such a very
pleasant line that I got hooked!!
When 2 days later I called Joe again and told him I'd decided that I wouldn't be an asset to the company - there were things I didn't think I could do - it
had sounded so easy - just send out some post cards, then sit back and watch the money roll in - ha, ha!! I told him that I would like my money back. He told me that since he and the manager had "recorded my call" that
that would not be possible.
On Sunday - I happened to go to a "RipOffReport" site on the computer (which I should have done before giving my credit card number) and found that a number of individuals had sent in reports claiming "scam and fraud"
so I decided that I did not want anything more to do with them.
I sent an e-mail to Shawn - a very pleasant fellow who had sent me the Authorization Form by e-mail which I needed to sign to give them permission to formulate a "web-site" for me which I had mailed to the company on Sat. I asked him, in view of what I'd found out about the company, if he would stop the formation of the web-site. He didn't have written permission as yet
to make it up.
Shawn was very upset that I had filed a report with "RipOff" and wanted to talk to me by phone - I was not in the house most of Monday - but he left
a message on the phone. I sent him another e-mail telling him I was not interested in talking to any of the men with whom I had had conversations before.
He sent me another e-mail and informed me that the company is reputable and has a 30 day refund policy. If only Joe had told me that, then this situation would never have gotten to this state of affairs.
I told Shawn that I would be glad to call him and thank him as soon as he sends me my refund. I had cancelled my credit card so that they could not keep charging around $300 for the website as someone had said they did to
I am really hoping that Shawn is correct in saying that Horizon Technologies is a reputable company and if he really refunds my money, I will be very thankful - and would recommend this company. May have to wait to see
if I can report that!!
