I signed up for a website design in November of 2012. Since I already had a webhosting company I just paid for the website build and maintenance.
From November 2012 until April 2014 no changes had been made to the website. I had written and telephoned many times and never received a response to my requests concerning the website build. So I wrote to request information on how to request a refund and to cancel the services.
Below are the emails that I have recieved since Thursday, April 3, 2014 until this morning April 7, 2014. The emails are numbered with the earliest one at the # 1. I have removed all contact information and just included the actual comments.
For the record you never hosted our website. Nor did we get the web design paid for. I stole nothing from you. I still would like to see a copy of the website you say your students designed.
Wrong. You got a free web design by students and didn’t pay for any web design.. The hosting is what you paid for and renewed for after the 1st year ended. You have seen your hosting and your website and you even made your own changes on it.
Im now ending this conversation im not going to allow you to continue to waste my time which is valuable. We did you a favor and your trying to steal from us now which isn’t very Christ like. Goodbye
What was paid to your company was for a website build. Not the hosting. We have been with another website hosting company since 2004 and at no time have left that company for hosting elsewhere. The only thing paid to your company was to produce a new website build. At no time did your company host our website.
For the fourth (4th) time I am again requesting a copy of the website build produced by your company. I am assuming you would still have a copy as most companies keep records of customers than are no longer with them. Especially, if there have been complaints/issues raised by a customer.
I truly wish I had received as many emails about my concerns with the website you were building as I have concerning a request for information on getting a refund and the cancellation of your services for undelivered goods.
Great well then you admit to the hosting which is what you think you deserve a refund before, and it explains why you were doing it and not us.

You are not a CUSTOMER.. your paid for your own hosting GOOD FOR YOU. For a tiny amount of money which now you think I should pay for after 24 months of use.
Its like eating your lobster.. saying it wasn’t good and then wanting to not pay for it,. Its sad and Red Lobster should treat you like this maybe you wont try it the next time.. its just awful .
Yes, I admit to seeing the site another church member and I produced. I have not seen any changes made by you or anyone from your company.
You or your company did not produce a site that was seen or edited by us.
You continue to show your unprofessionalism and lack of customer care, or in this case lack of care concerning the complaints of a past customer.

The only response I need from you is a screenshot of the website/webpage/blog/etc. you and/or your company produced and launched for the uccyuma.org.
Well thank you its nice to know you admit to having hosting.. you admit your site was online and you admit you had a site.. and you admit that you and church members edited that site.. ENOUGH SAID.. you admit to having a site.. and hosting... wonderful .. done..
You obviously have seen it if you deny its existence ask your church member that helped you. They for sure saw it.
Let me say this for the last time.
What I have seen for two years have been changes made by me and another church member.
Thank you for confirming you cannot produce a screenshot of the changes you say you made to the website.
Your handling of a di-satisfied customer has been unprofessional in each and every email.
You have seen it Bonnie. You saw it for 2 years. Call the cable company and tell them you didn’t like their shows for 2 years and you want a refund for 2 years. See how that goes. I would love to spend more time disputing this nonsense but you cancelled and we are done wasting time with you at this point.
I feel I am continuing to email the same person. I will say it does not make sense to me that you are more concerned with the request on how to apply for a refund than you are concerning the lack of website change issues. If you have a copy of the site as changed by your company please send me a screen shot of it. You would have had to save it somewhere so I am sure you have a backup copy that you can email me.
At this point I am not expecting instructions on how to apply for a refund. However, I would like to see a copy of the website with your changes.
Bonnie you had to tell several stories just to attempt to make your case.. I have a copy of your website..You cant pretend stuff wasn’t done for you. The facts and your emails and the site tell the whole story. If you wanted something you should of spoken up about it.. if you didn’t get it you should of spoken up again. There is no excuse here. I know how much work we did for you and most importantly I know your site had hosting for 24 months that now you don’t think you should have to pay for 8 months after it ended. Did you just decide you needed some money and you thought of this ?

I'm not sure who to send this to. I had asked for a cancellation due to your company design of the website not ever becoming active. I also asked how to request a refund for the two years that have been paid for. Please read through all the emails below. I understood this was a learning environment so I was very lenient with waiting for the website changes to take place. I finally cancelled the account when the only changes I saw on the website in question were the ones that one other person from the church and I made.
I am very disappointed in the responses from your staff. These types of emails call into question your business professionalism. I had a legitimate issue that was not resolved from the very beginning. To end a business relationship with comments that were sent in the last email leaves a negative imagine of your business.
Your trying to steal 2 years worth of services claiming to be " unsatisfied " is what I consider theft.
Followed by brow bashing and lying t0o accomplish it.. If you were in my store trying that nonsense I would have security remove you.
How would react if I asked you for another $300 and then started claiming you owed it to me ? you would have some choice words ? or professionalism ?
Get lost and don’t email us again. Im cancelling your account your done here.
I'm not sure what nerve I have hit. However, the response is unprofessional. Typing in all caps is considered yelling. You say the site was built yet I have never seen the site you built, which has been my concern from the beginning. I have never seen a site with any information I have sent.
I had repeatedly written concerning the changes that I had sent in. I even called to no avail. Thank you for cancelling the service. If anyone asks I will not recommend your services.
If only I had received as timely responses to the lack of website changes as I have received concerning the cancellation and request for a refund.
No need to reply.
Education involves learning and any unsatisfied customer is an opportunity to learn. I do pray the lessons have not been lost.

We provided a service for you that costs money and you cannot return that now 2 years later after using it and having a site built and everything else that happened that you arent admitting to right now.
Ask your cable company for 2 years money back and see what they say that should be the same reason.
I'm confused. Why are there "no refunds obviously"? I'm not being obnoxious just curious since we never saw any website changes in the two years I was charged for your services. I gave plenty of time for changes to appear.

How do I request a refund for the past two years and be taken off your list? After much discussion and investigation any changes to the website have been made by me and others from the church.
I want to cancel the service effective immediately. Thank you for your help.
