Hotels.com Kindle deal is a bait and switch scam Internet

I was lured into booking a trip through Hotels.com because of the free Kindle promotion that they are currently advertising.  Unfortunately for me ( and even after calling them before I even booked to make sure that my trip would qualify), I later found out that my trip apparently did not qualify.  This is a dishonorable company that clearly uses scams to generate business and has no concept of customer service.  I wasted a lot of time on the phone with them last night after not getting the promotion, only to find out that they are nothing but slimy crooks.  I hope their company goes bankrupt, and I will NEVER do business with them again.
