I ordered on their website an Albert Sung dress, model number D328. I mentioned in my order that I needed this dress by June 13th. In regard to their sales process, their website states:
"We contact our customers by email at various points of the order process. It is imperative the customer includes an email address on their order. The first email is sent immediately after an order is submitted to confirm your order is in our system. The next email is sent 7 - 10 business days thereafter to confirm your order has been placed with the designer and will include the estimated shipping of your order to our location. A shipping confirmation email will be sent when your order is shipped from our location and will include the tracking number." It is way past 10 business days and I have not received a confirmation email yet regarding my dress. I sent an email on 3/11. Customer service never replied. I called their customer service line, which was just a recording. I left a message - no one ever returned my call. I sent another email on 3/16, threatening to report them to the BBB. The following RUDE email was sent to me on 3/17: "Please calm down Christine. It takes up to 10 business days to receive confirmation from our designers. Today is the 10th business day since you placed your order. Please have some consideration that our designers are very busy and confirm orders as quickly as possible. Please note that we receive hundreds of phone calls per day. Our phone service works perfectly. We will check on your order and get back to you soon."
I sent another email on 3/17 and repeated again that I needed this dress by June 13, and asked if I would receive that dress on time or if I should take my business elsewhere. I never received a reply. I called their customer service number and after finally reaching someone, I was put on hold for 20 minutes while they checked the status of my order. I was then told that there was no update to my order, nor would they know if they would have an update next week. I told the customer service person that I need to know if I should take my business elsewhere, and she said she could not tell me anything! I then said it was pretty obvious I should take my business elsewhere and said I would like a refund. She told me to have a good day and hung up on me. This is an abusive way to treat customers.
Coordinating a wedding is already stressful enough. Why give your business to a company who acts like you and your sale is an inconvenience to them? Stay away from these buffoon crooks.
