I was in question as to why would you show an item that is not available until some months down the road. So House of bride customer service contact me and said to order from the "immediate delivery" column and so I did. And when I did they false advertise the gown to be red which in fact it was "very pink". I politely informed them to refund my money because the dress I needed was a red color to match with my partner. They wanted my credit card information again so that she (Karen) would forward the information to their accounting department to refund the amount of $200.00 so she (Karen) failed to inform me at that time it would take 30 days to process.
In the mean time, I have tried to contact this Karen that I dealt with and she is no longer answering my e-mails. That was another problem, they will not call you but contact you through e-mails. When they say someone will call you, they never ever do! You keep calling them and their response is that they would forward an e-mail to the customer service department which in turn is suppose to contact you. They never do! I find myself very frustrated because all the unprofessional treatment you receive when dealing with this company. The refund; House of Brides says it will take approximately 30 days for a refund. I'd asked why would it take that long just to do a simple transaction? When normally it takes about maybe 5-10 business days for a refund to credit a refund onto a card. When I ask why does it takes so long their response is that they don't have any information to give me but they will e-mail their senior support about my concern. What a bunch of crap! It sure didn't seem to take them long to take my money but I am having a hard time getting it back?! It's my money!

WRONG AGAIN!
I will take credit for getting the complainants refund in a timely manner. See how speaking out against less than ethical companies works?
Thanks again ROR for the forum.
Please be advised the individual mentioned in the #6 post has not been with the company since 2006, 5 years ago.
We researched your issue. We show you placed your order on January 22nd with an event date of February 14th, a time frame of 3 weeks. You indicated rush delivery on your order.
However, our website states the dress you ordered is available with standard delivery of approximately 8 weeks from the designer to House of Brides and approximately 5 weeks with rush delivery. These time frames are from the date of the order confirmation. The site also states to allow for an additional 3 – 5 business days for House of Brides to receive and inspect an order prior to shipment. The information is clearly displayed with the style you ordered and viewable before placing an order.
A representative contacted you on January 25th to advise the designer could not meet your event date of 3 weeks. The representative asked to confirm the event date and advised if February 14th was the true date, to view our Immediate Delivery collection. The Immediate Delivery collection features designer samples in-stock in limited colors and sizes available to ship from House of Brides in 7 business days or less.
We received your reply on February 3rd stating the event date was the true date. You also inquired about Immediate Delivery style ID628, which states on our website is available in European Fuchsia in sizes 2 – 24 only. Our representative replied the same day confirming the dress is available only in European Fuchsia at this time and advised the color was very different from the Claret color on your original order. The representative stated if the European Fuchsia color was not acceptable, we could refund the order. The representative advised we would need your credit card information for the refund. We do not store credit card information for our customers’ security.
We received your reply on February 4th asking for the refund. Our representative replied the order was submitted to our Accounting Department for refund.
We state on our website including under Terms & Conditions, refunds can take up to 30 business days to be processed. As part of online orders, customers must check that they agree to all policies listed in our Terms & Conditions to submit their order.
Your refund was processed on February 18th.
Cherise, we value you as a customer and offer you a $25.00 off coupon code for an online purchase with House of Brides. Please enter coupon code C221 on the online order form to receive $25.00 off your next purchase. Thank you.

You should have read the numerous complaints prior to placing your order

You took a major risk when giving your credit card information to Dale Buziecki. He is currently on probation for trying to dupe the IRS.
Dale Buziecki is and has been the defendant in many civil cases.
Karen Cole will not help you get your refund. She has no authority to issue a refund to you She's a $9.50 employee. Dale Buziecki decides who gets refunds and who doesn't.
Read the multiple complaints here, then you will understand where you stand. You may want to contact your credit card company for advise. Good luck.
You appear to be confusing TWO issues: credit card credit processing and MERCHANT processing.
Credits processed to a credit card account are regulated, in part, by the Fair Credit Billing Act. IF a credit card company took 30 days to process a credit, they would be violating this law and the consumer may sue the CC company in court. CC companies are required to process valid credits/debits within 3 days from when the MERCHANT initiates the transaction with the CC company.
MERCHANT PROCESSING is what I think you're writing about. A merchant may indeed claim "require" up to 30 days to process a refund, but this too is regulated by statutes and FTC rules.
Any credit that takes more than 3 business days to show up on a consumer credit card is 99.99% of the time caused by the MERCHANT-the merchant delayed the credit (refund.) Any other excuse that a merchant states is, quite frankly, a lie.

Do You Speak English?

Where did you come up with this ridiculous "fact"? You've got some nerve posting that.
It takes about 5 minutes to do a refund and a max of 3 - 4 days for it to post to the consumer's account (depending on the merchant processing company). I had a CC refund last week and it took 2 business days to post to my account.
You are mistaken. I have had refunds (credits) processed by many stores; Lowes, Home Depot, Office Max, etc. and the refund hit my VISA card in less than 24 hours.
It depends on when the merchant actually processes the credit and what ACH/CC processor they are using.
I don't have any affiliation with any of this, so if you're going to write a follow-up rant, you'll have to at least make an effort.
