Now we know what Scott Butler, the disgraced Guard Captain, does while he is supposed to be watching the building. Scott was detained in a city park in Pasadena this morning loitering outside the men's room while wearing a bunny costume!

This incident would have remained secret except for the unnamed citizen who happened to snap a photo of the incident and forward it to me, The PHANTON from HACLA. As you can see, a sullen Butler is being escorted from the park in handcuffs while being watched over by the ever vigilent and disgusted Pasadena Police Motor Squad.

He was released without charges because according to the police spokesman, "A Government Employee wearing a bunny outfit while on duty isn't against the law - BUT IT SHOULD BE"

Blazing HACLA

AUTHOR: Leonard - (U.S.A.)

Now who can argue with that? I think we're all indebt to The Phantom from HACLA for stating what needed to be said. I am particulary glad that these lovely children were here today to read this post. Not only was it authentic ghetto slang, it expressed the courage little seen in this day and age.

What are we made of? Our fathers came across the prairies, fought Indians, fought drought, fought locusts, fought Dix... remember when Richard Dix came in here and tried to take over the Housing Authority? Well, we didn't give up then... and by gum, we're not going to give up now!

#4 Consumer Comment

Hey!

AUTHOR: Anonymous - (USA)

I would like to respond directly to HACLA's tendentious epithets. However, considering its inability to cope with the truth I feel that doing so would be a great disservice to HACLA at this time. So, instead, I'll devote the rest of this letter to explaining as politely as possible how mad, anal-retentive dingbats speak in order to concealor at least to veiltheir thoughts. For starters, it sometimes puts itself in charge of destroying our moral fiber. At other times, one of its helpers is deputed for the job. In either case, I want to wage war on terrorism. I want to do this not because I need to tack another line onto my rsum but because once you understand HACLA's ploys, you have a responsibility to do something about them. To know, to understand, and not to act, is an egregious sin of omission. It is the sin of silence. It is the sin of letting HACLA don the mantel of conformism and deliver an additional blow to dignity and self-worth. Until we address this issue, we will never move beyond it.

#5 UPDATE Employee

He Had Permission From Montiel To Wear The Bunny Outfit

AUTHOR: Alex G - (U.S.A.)

Scott Butler wasn't the only HACLA employee to show up to work wearing an animal costume today. According to Patrice McConnell (HR director) HACLA allows employees to dress up as animals during an event called "Furry Fridays". Since most upper managers at HACLA are members of the "Furry Club", they already possess very expensive costumes that they wear during these events. Rudy Montiel was the one who made this day an OFFICIAL EVENT this month so don't blame Scott, blame Rudy.

Scott claimed he was on his lunch break and stopped into the restroom to go pee. Yeah RIGHT! How many times have we heard THAT excuse before. Just ask Senator Larry Craig and Florida State Senator Robert Allen when they were busted.

Here is a photo of HACLA CEO Rudy Montiel taken just today at HACLA Headquarters dressed up like a muppet.  He does look cute!
