Security Captain Scott Butler tried to install hidden cameras in the men's room at HACLA Headquarters. He claimed it was to stop illegal and perverted sexual activity he claims is running rampant at our building. The only thing running rampant at HACLA is Scott Butler and his sick desire to know the penis sizes of all the male employees. This man is SICK and needs some serious counseling.
As usual Kinky Ken Simmons and Good Booty Rudy Montiel covered up this total invasion of our privacy rights by Butler. He is such a freak around here that he is known as Hot Bottom Scotty behind his back. Steve Cooley - Los Angeles D.A. who likes to hob knob with criminals, sex perverts thugs and other assorted politicans - found out about Scott "The Pink Panther" Butler's hidden "cock cams" he put in the men's rooms at HACLA HQ and told Butler he was violating section 632 of the California Penal Code. Cooley, in all his pervetedness, told Butler there was a way around the law if Butler would let him watch some of the video taped urinations in the men's room. Butler agreed and Cooley told Butler that he can have as many "cock cams" as he wants as long as he designates HACLA HQ @ 2600 Wilshire Blvd. a city correctional facility. Butler has ALREADY ordered the signs to be posted at the entrance of 2600 Wilshire declaring the building a "city correctional facility", The signs are very SMALL and almost not visible to the naked eye.

It is pretty clear to me that either you are dating Scott Butler, or would like to. Either way, you DON'T work at HACLA and you DON'T know what it is like to have this man undressing you with his eyes every time you pass him in the hallway. I am scared to go to my car after dark because he might be lurking in the shadows doing lord knows what with his private parts. For all those homophobic hypocrites out there who love to criticize and point fingers at a persons skin color, gender or alternate personal lifestyle, may I just say for the record, I had the distinct pleasure of meeting Security Chief Scott Butler on two separate occasions last year.
One was at the Long Beach Gay Pride Parade and the Other time was at the West Hollywood Gay Pride Festival, where, I can honestly say Scott Butler is a man of good character, decency and high morals. Whether he's gay or not, should not be the issue of concern here. Quite frankly, it's nobody's business, as long as he is an effective productive leader at the HACLA, which I'm sure he is.
As I said, Mister Butler is one of the nicest colored men I have ever had the pleasure of meeting and I mean that with most sincerity. Just because he was forced to resign at the LA County Sheriffs Office a few years ago under a cloud of suspicion, it doesn't make him a bad guy. At last year's Long Beach Pride Parade, Scott Butler was seen passing out flyers in an effort to recruit better qualified applicants to the City Of LA's Housing Authority Dept. and from what I heard, the result was overwhelming with hundreds of gay applicants filing in to 2600 Wilshire Blvd and applying to various open positions at the City of LA's Housing Authority which I'm sure has helped mend gaps between the City of Los Angeles and the gay community as a whole.
Even The Advocate newspaper had an article praising Scott Butler and the HACLA for promoting its first openly transvestite employee Rudy Montiel to a top level administrative position. If there is a suspicion about any suspected perverted unlawful sexual activity in the HACLA's men's room, then Mr. Butler as Chief, has every right to condone any and all investigative procedures which might be a deterrent and potential threat to the safety and security of the HACLA and all personnel within.
I, for one, support his restroom camera procedures, as we need to rid the Housing Authority of perverts who perform sexual acts in public, not innocent queers.

#1 - The Headquarters building is next door to The Silver Platter, a notorious gay bar - even by Los Angeles standards.
#2 - The security chief is considered to be a Black Barney Fife by the rank and file employees. It is rumored that he suffers from a mild form of mental retardation and the employees are pretty much split down the middle about it. 1/2 think he is a deranged dwarf on a power trip and the other 1/2 feel sorry for him because of his mental condition and the fact he hasn't come to terms with his sexuality. Scott Butler is not a man to be despised but a man to be pitied.
Just for the record, the Los Angeles City Attorney has NOT filed one single case of lewd conduct that Captain Butler has taken to their office for prosecution. Also contrary to statements by senior HACLA staff, the LAPD Rampart Division has NOT formed PROSTATE (Police Restroom Observers Stopping Transvestites And Those who Encourage them) to clamp down on restroom trolls but as a recruiting tool for the next academy class.

I think Captain Butler's only crime is his failure to post warning signs at the entrances to all the men's rooms. I honestly think if those signs had been in place at the Minneapolis Airport, Senator Larry Craig would not have done what he said he didn't do but we all know he did it and he would still be a very well respected NON GAY member of the United States Senate from Idaho.

I want to let everyone know that there are no camera angles in the restroom that enable Capt. Butler to approximate the size of someone's penis. There is nothing wrong with the fact that Captain Butler enjoys his job. We NEED someone who has their eyes glued to the monitors in order to apprehend suspects in restroom crimes. Restroom crimes have gone down to 0% in the last month since the cameras were installed.
