Today, March 22, 2012 I received a Collection Notice from RMS stating that I owe $38.50 from Humana. I called RMS and I was told that either I pay now or call Humana myself which I did. When I called Humana, I was told that they sent me a letter dated January 13, 2012 to collect the said amount. I haven't receiveany letter from Humana. Besides my insurance coverage from them was cancelled (I requested) effective January 31, 2012. The letter I got from RMS stated that I send my payment to Humana Insurance Company P.O. Box 533, Carol Stream, IL 60132. When I called their Carol Stream office, I was told that they know nothing about this bill. The gentleman I talked to was very rude. I finally called back Humana's Kentucky office and paid them $38.50 with my credit card. I don't understand on how I could owe them when in fact my premium was automatically deducted from my checking account while I was still insured with Humana, just like my present dental coverage, which I will definitely cancel on May. Nobody seems to know what's going on. I am disgusted because for $38.50 my credit rating is tarnished. People out there, maybe Humana is right for you, but for me, I was ripped off.
