I have received training to become a bounty hunter through Mr. Rob Halliburton of Hunters, International as well, but I do not feel that he was given a fair shake in this report. There are no details about what "lies" he has been telling, what "tricks" he has been using. It just looks like an angry attempt to sling mud at someone with no substance.
As I mentioned before, I also have been trained by Mr. Rob, and just like everyone else who passes his classes, I got my license. I have not been able to get any work yet, but I have not had too much to work with, considering I'm on my own now, so I can't blame Mr. Rob for that. If you recall, it clearly stated in the contract that you signed (before you gave your money) that you would not be guaranteed a job after the training, only assistance in finding work. That's exactly what he did for me, and I assume for everyone of the people above me who posted their own rebuttal.
I called him up, and let him know that I was not able to find any work. Rather than just hanging up on me, or ignoring me altogether, he instead asked me to send him my resume, and helped me dress it up a bit. He also told me about alternative job opportunities aside from bounty hunting, such as loss prevention, and steered me in the right direction when I asked him how I could go about looking for a job in loss prevention.
I think you (the original poster) also couldn't find any work as a bail agent, and instead of asking for help, or trying a little harder, you just flat out gave up. Judging by the lack of details, and morbidly vague potshots in your post, I'd say you didn't try at all. I'm willing to bet that you sent your resume (if you even did THAT) to 1, maybe 2 offices, and sat by the phone hoping for a call to no avail. Did you even try calling him? I only sent him one email, and I got a response almost immediately to call him so we could work something out.
The bottom line is, you paid to get the training, not the job. It didn't work out the way you hoped it would; deal with it, and move on.

Falsly accusing someone of fraudualance is obserred. I have been working closey with Rob and this man means business. I find it that people find him intimidating when it comes to the way his handles his work ethic. Hunters International is legit and acredited bounty hunting agency that has helped a vast amount of indivuals become recovery agents. Rob works closely with indiviuals who he feels would be a asset too the crime world and he will do whatever he can in his power to make sure that his students are and will be a success out in this field of work. Rob builds you with the knowledge that you need to take on after his course and even in life. A very business savy man who teaches his student how to even own there own fugitive recovery agency someday. It is then up to that indiviual on how far you wont to apply yourself. I have to totally DISAGREE with this ad. Since Ive been working with Rob so many opprotunities have opened for me. It is only up to you how far you wont to go in your career.

I went to the class and like everyone else I was skeptical at first. Still skeptical in a way. The fee is $595.00. First day of the interview you will talk to Robbie for a few hours to talk about the class and to look over after class testimonies, and in the end he will show you a contract that states if you sign you will HAVE to pay the full amount listed above.
If you sign and anytime refuse to pay or change your mind about attending his class you WILL be threatened with fraud and possibly sued. DO NOT SIGN if you do not have the funds to pay for the class. It has happened to others so don't be one of them.
Read the contract thoroughly and research other Bail Fugitive Recovery Agent licensing programs first. I found this program after I took Rob's class and regret spending the $595.00. The website is; http://www.uenforcebail.com/page1.html or www.bailspeak.com. The class is 12 hours with continuing training if you want to, also comes with taser certification, price can go from $375.00-$400.00. Check out the website to see videos of the training program. Classes are in several cities in California and not just San Diego.
Now I will talk about what my perspective was in Rob's two day class. The class was from 10:00AM-06:00PM. Robbie didn't show up till just a little after noon. We were mostly instructed by another student who was also there to certify as a bail enforcement agent. When Rob showed up he asked for the money everyone owed and we individually paid our fees.
Afterwards, we sat and listened to Rob share stories of his experience in the business for quite some time. He then passed around our books which are made of several pages of copied documents binded together by a plastic comb binder.
He read out loud from the book and we followed along with him. From time to time he would discuss what the pages meant and what they were for. Good information to know.
The next day, we continued to take instructions from the other student until around 2:00pm when Rob showed up. When he did he read more from the book and explained the pages then showed everyone how to confront a bail bond company with a resume to receive our first case.
All in all it all seemed to simple to require an expensive class. But yes we all received our ID card and certification for attending the class. If you take the class you will 110% surely receive yours as well but if you want something cheaper and with a more professional training I would recommend the website I discussed before.

You write that you are now 100% certified in CA to bounty hunt. There are currently NO LAWS governing bounty hunting = no certifications, no licensing, therefore what is this certification you speak of exactly?

I have recently gone through Mr. Rob Halliburton's class. From the start, he was very helpful and understanding of my situation. Mr. Halliburton has helped me in any way that he could to ensure that I could get to and from his class, and also worked with me on payment for the class.
There was a lot of information that he put out that I am sure will put me ahead of the game in pursuing my career as a fugitive recovery agent. I am very pleased with the training that I received and would recomend it to anyone wanting this type of career.
Mr. Rob Halliburton has been straight forward with everything that he has put out. He has positive proof to back up everything that he does and has done. If you don't believe it, contact him and find out for yourself and see that he is a great guy to have as a teacher and that his training is genuine.

Robs class is not a Joke and provides much insight to the world of Fugitive recovery. How would you expect to just jump into an industry that is that dangerous with zero training? Just cause CA does not require it does not mean you are not going to need to have some knowledge. I agree that this Complaint should be removed because i did see it prior to taking his class but the complaint holds no ground

I decided to take a calculated risk when signing up for Mr. Rob Halliburtons class. I knew and understood that it was a training course not a job offer, that I would be starting my own company or taking the credentials to find work elsewhere, and that it was an opportunity to network.
My expectations going into the course were to learn the legalities, terminologies and network with others interested in the field. I got exactly that and more. Upon completion of the two day training course I gained extensive knowledge to compliment my military background. Not only did I gain valuable tools and knowledge but I have a continued relationship with Mr. Halliburton and his associates.
I have recieved follow up phone calls to assist me and check up on me as I started my business. Additionally I have been able to contact him and his associates for any questions that I may have had and have.
Just over a week after the course I received my first case and about a week later I completed the case. During the Case I ran into several issues and had several questions. I Contacted Mr. Halliburton and his associates and just as before the knowledge shared with me was vital to the completion of my case.
Although the price of the course is a little high compared to others offering similar services, the knowledge and assistance following the course has proved invaluable to my success after. Additionally after one case I more than paid off the money invested into the course.

Some People Need To Think!

People are always going to criticize people and teachers. But the one thing I come to understand, you cannot always listen to what angry people say. What I experience from Mr. Halliburton's class threw Hunters International was a better understanding about, the process of getting someone out of Jail but most importantly how to get a person back after they skip bail. Another thing I learned and liked about Mr. Halliburton, was he wanted to meet/interview before going to his class, So that he can see what kind person we were. Being a former Correctional Officer I wish I could have done with some of my partners then I would have known that they would not have my back. I fill with the people I have met though his class they would have my back. People will say anything even more so when they are mad. This business is not for everyone, people can get people hurt. It Should be known, that after taking I found to have gained a wealth of knowledge and more so a friendship among my classmates and Mr. Halliburton. The training I got was more than I thought. If there is doubt look how long ago those negative comments were written and there has not been one since that time. Always try to talk to the teacher of the class, Because in this day and age there are to many people that want to be teachers and not students. I hope that this can be laid to rest.

Rob Halliburton's Fugitive Enforcement Class

I don't know why everybody is so negative about Rob Halliburton and his classes. I have learned so many interesting information about Fugitive Enforcement. Rob have put all his experiences in Fugitive Enforcement to teach his students every proper way to be a Fugitive Enforcement, techniques, and strategies in tracking down a fugitive. Bounty Hunters are pretty much the only people that are able to track down fugitives in a secret way, not even detectives are able to complete their tasks as well as bounty hunter do. Rob even train us how to perform a proper interview and wont stop the live interview training until his students are on the same page. No other instructor puts their time into training their students in having a proper interview.

Mr. Haliburton's Fugitive Recovery Class is very professional. Throughtout his class he is very informational about the trials and tribulations about being a field recovery officer. Which includes a self defense class tought by a grand master in martial arts.
With my Fugitive Recovery Creditionals it helped me land a security job with The PGA Tour, Acdamy Awards, KIA Open, and The Kraft Tournement. I feel even more confident about how the law works in differnt states and ciries throughout the nation when I am working on the feild as a Fugitve Recovery Agent.
I would just like to say thanks to Rob Haliburton, Hunters International for giving me the opertunity to follow a life long dream. Yes, his company is sound and laget. I would like to encourage anybody to enroll in his class. Good luck and please be safe!

Do not listen to to all the hates for your own opinion and see if it is for you. Some people probably went to the course and found out it wasn't for that is why they are complaining. My name is Xander, and I just took the class for Fugitive Recovery Agent offered by Rob and Hunters International. I have done my research before signing for the class and couldn't find but this one and only rip-off report. I have met people who took this class, and they all say the same: It's good training, it's valid training, and it's legal training. I went through the class and learned a lot of good information. It also allowed me to form my own team of fugitive recovery agents just as Rob told me it would. We are ready to roll and about to get our first cases. I can't help but wonder why this rip-off report was really created. Was there some jealous competitor trying to kill the competiton? Was that someone who thought he would get out of the training and have everything fall on his lap? No matter the reason, I encourage everybody else to not believe what is said there and to do their own research. Rob Halliburton is a good guy, who delivers what he says he does. Keep going Rob, and thank you for helping us getting in such a hard to get field.

I know from personal experience that the complaint in regards to Rob Halliburton of Hunters International Inc, is misleading and incorrect. In fact the person who wrote this complaint has not educated themselves on all the varying state laws, and is now stating false information.
Mr. Rob Halliburton offers an in depth, and invaluable educational course for those interested in a career in the bounty enforcement industry. He is very committed to providing the necessary information in law, ethics, and conflict management. As well as providing the tools to obtain work immediately after graduation. I personally paid, and attended this course in CA, and I am now actively working in this industry. So if you are serious about becoming certified as a fugitive recovery agent, I would recommend attending this very educational seminar.
Mr. Rob Halliburton offers an in depth, and invaluable educational course for those interested in a career in the bounty enforcement industry. As well all know times right know are difficult and we are more precaution of our money. So we tend to do more investigation of what we do in life. But when theres a good opportunity to do good in this time of no jobs, and student graduating from universities and still can find no careers to get in to. Someone that attacks this great opportunity makes people miss a change of greatness. So, Im a person of facts and believing of great opportunities. So let clear this issue
of Mr. Rob Halliburton. First we see the problem that the person who posted this rip-off report came into negligence that he felt he was being rip off. What made him believe that Mr. Halliburton was a phony but in reality he wasnt.
Then this person did some investigation that Mr. Halliburton came into some legal matter in the State of Indiana and it was deal with. So my next question will be what was the problem in state of Indiana? Well the state of Indiana you have to be credited to teach a class but because Mr. Halliburton had a Business matter to deal with he hired another instructor that told he was credited in the state of Indiana and all this other certification. So Mr. Halliburton was under the impression that this person was good to go. Keep in mind that Mr. Halliburton has been in the business for 20 years and we all make mistake but this is the first. But later on this person that instructed the class was a real phony. So that why Mr. Halliburton need it to come back to Indiana to take care of the situation. Know next question will be so his teaching in California does he needs to be credited. Well the California Penal Code requires no credentials to either become a bail enforcement agent.
So that means if you take his class your ok. And this law is in effective since this year we came in 2011 feel free to check it out the California penal code.
So if you have been approach by this great man Mr. Halliburton expect great opportunities. They call me tony and I attended his seminar the month of October 2011 and I call tell you this I made the greatest choice in my life. I have known Mr. Halliburton for several years now and I do not agree with all the negative remarks about him being made publicly. He was in Albuquerque, NM twice and conducted his training and licensing program, when police officer were called upon him for allegation of fraud, a wanted fugitive, and just being black!!!!! After all the investigations, he was legit and was let go, so he could complete his classes. We have traveled from state to state conducting our classes and trainings and people where happy and they are now working as fugitive recover agent.
I have my license and I have been working with it and I have not come across any problems. I work with all the local bail bondsman, police officers, and investigators. When they checked my license it comes back clear and legitimate for me to do my job and bring in fugitives.
I have brought in 25 criminals within the last year and have booked them into jail. I enjoy what I do and I have a lot of success, in the mean time, I work closely with all the police officers when I'm out and about.
I don't know why people spend so much time on causing people trouble, problems, or misery? They must be very depressed or jealous that some people are making money and are successful in what they do.
So, in conclusion I would say to not listen to this person and get on with your lives and make something of yourself to be the best you can be. Maybe he doesn't have what it takes to make it in this line of work, so he is putting out a word about someone who is very successful in what he does.
Mr. Halliburton does his research before he goes out to conduct his trainings and licensing. He is not stupid in going somewhere and just setting up and collects monies for his services. He accepts applications, does background checks, instructs ever individuals what is expected of them, what the class is about, collects a survey for remarks and feed backs, and makes contact with law enforcement to instruct the class in regards to defending yourself, protection the fugitive, and scenarios of questions for competency for all those who trained and attended the class.

I am a client of Rob Halliburton's in southern Ca. California Penal Code requires no credentials to either become a bail enforcement agent, nor operate as one. It does not require credentials to train and qualify individuals in the field, so Mr Haliiburton is in compliance with CA Penal code 1299.
I found his class to be educational and a good introduction to this field of work.

i too have contacted rob halliburton for help in becoming a fugitive recovery agent. Before attending his class i came across this report and was worried however, after attending his training class not only am i one hundred percent certified as a fugitive recovery agent but i feel i have gained a wealth of knowledge he has also extensively helped me to find work as a fugitive recovery agent. When i confronted mr rob halliburton about his negative report on this site he explained to me that in over 20 years this is the only negative report he has every received he explained the whole situation and im sure he would do the same for u also the 7 other people i attended this class with are 100% certified as well

Mr. Rob Halliburton who lives in San Diego, CA goes from city to city telling people he will help them become a Fugitive Recovery Agent/ Bounty Hunter or Bail Agent through his company called Hunter International on Craig's list. WARING don't fall for his tricks. I took his class or 2 day seminar. He never showed up. He did However "hire" someone to come teach the class. Everyone in the class found out latter that that person wasn't accredited for the training we all needed to to apply for out license. Everyone in the class paid approximatively $600 and we all have nothing to show for it.
