Huntington Bank Holding Deposits Streetsboro, Ohio

Huntington bank holds deposited checks way too long.  Including a check from one Huntington accunt to another.   So my boyfriend opened the Huntington account, as that is the bank his employer uses and he gets paid by check.  We deposited his check Friday, and it immediately came out of his employers account, as we had him check on this.  Today is Monday, and the check is still not showing as a deposit in the account.  I find this utterly ridiculous.  If I walk into my Charter One bank with a check from someone else with Charter One, and I deposit it, the deposit shows immediately, as I was a check from another Charter One account.  Just saying, I feel they do not care about their customers and do this in the hopes that someone bounces and they get their fee. 

So they can offer that "forgiveness" feature all they want, but it better be cash your running to the bank with, because they hold checks deposited way longer than any other bank.  I would never bank with Huntington and my boyfriend will be closing his account.
