Do you store your pressure washer where it's exposed to

POSTED: Thursday, March 15, 2012If so, your pump may have frozen and cracked open.
Most washers warn not to store where freezing may occur or they tell you how to winterize the unit to prevent this. Mine has me add RV antifreeze to the pump before storing. I've had it for 10 years now and it works perfectly. Regular antifreeze will corrode the pump.
Don't know if that's what happened, but it's very likely if it was indeed in cold weather and hadn't been winterized.
Sorry for your troubles, pressure washers are very handy tools.
