ICDC College ICDC college in sherman oak van nuys CA icdc used non accredited HS diploma,they didnt infom this when i signed up ,I went three years thinking i had a hs diploma Van Nuys, California

OK you must read this.

I went to ICDC College back in 07 and I took there Graphic design/Web development class.The class was crap and so was the teacher.

the only thing that made enroll in this school was the fact that the would give you a COMPLEMENTARY HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA .I had to write a 2000 word bio and took a 4 hour test.

then just like  that I had a high school diploma from century  high school in santa monica

this is were I get screwed

After finally finishing the classes and receiving the certificate and HS diploma they sent me on my way.not helping me  much with finding a job, and when they found out that i owed them $120 on tuition they completely stop helping look for a job, and kept bugging for the money.so when I finally paid them and asked them assist me with finding a job they pointed me to a board with a bunch of jobs from Craig's list.

So now three years later and self employed,  I decided to give school another try. only because I wanted to further develop my skills and become more familiar with whats new.......

But when I went to apply for an AA in computer science the admissions  person said that the HS diploma I had was not a accredited one... that the HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA that was given to was from a school that didn't meet the LAUSD standards and accrediting agency standards..!

SO I WASN'T EXCEPTED

and he also said that needed to take the GED test and that it would cost  me money !!!!!!!

its like ,are you f%$king serious ,this whole time I thought I had a real hs diploma from a real school...

and now i have to go  and take extra time and money...

I was never informed about this when i signed up.they did tell me that the certificate was not transferable credit because it was a trade school but the didn't say nothing about the hs diploma. except that it was real

matter of fact I remember them telling me that one of the reasons I should join was
that they were including real hs school diplomas with  there classes

so any ways, after leaving I went straight to the ICDC college and told them about this matter, and all they said was to write there HQ a letter and that was it.


I feel like I was tricked  into going to this  school,they used my eagerness to excel and desire  to grow up and become some thing to get me in.
I cant afford GED classes + the test

I owe the gov for the loan and I cant even get on the road to success because of ICDC's BULL SHIT HS DIPLOMA.

just think ...when i was there it was a full house, mainly because the other places only gave you a GED but they were giving out hs diploma's.... I wonder how many people this happened to ..how many people were tricked with the whole this "HS diploma"  scam...

NOW THEY NO LONGER HAVE HS DIPLOMAS THEY DO GED CLASSES.

 But either way I was never notified or ever given an option.
