I have been searching for a treadmill walking belt to replace the one on my Healthrider Softstrider SE model HRTL24570. The belt that came on it is soft and padded, hence the "softstrider". I found a belt that would work on another website but, it was just a regular non padded belt and they said it was non padded for $89 with free shipping. My wife expressly wanted the padded belt so I wint to the Helathrider parts website and found the part number and ordered it from them. The belt was $187 and some change, shipping was $26.10 and sales tax was also applied. My total bill was $227.00. The belt I received was not the factory replacement original. It looks just like the one I could have gotten for $89.00. When I called "customer service" they said the supplier quit making that padded belt two years ago and oh well. The "customer service" person refused to let me talk to someone above him and said that I had agreed to the conditions and policies. They want the 10% restocking fee($18) and I have to pay shipping ($26) on a part that they are passing off as a factory replacement. They should list the part as not original and shouldn't be charging twice as much as others for it anyway.
